Abstract

Die neue hoch- und warmfeste Aluminium-Silizium-Gusslegierung mit guter Wärmeleitfähigkeit ist besonders zur Herstellung von Motorenbauteilen insbesondere zum Gießen von Zylinderköpfen und Zylinderkurbelgehäusen geeignet und besitzt folgende Zusammensetzung: 2,6 bis 4,5 Gew.-% Silizium, 0,5 bis 3 Gew.-% Kupfer, 0,001 bis 0,3 Gew.-% Magnesium, 0,001 bis 0,8 Gew.-% Zirkonium, gegebenenfalls eines oder mehrerer der Elemente Mangan, Eisen, Kobalt, Zink, Nickel, Vanadium, Niob, Beryllium, Lithium, Yttrium, Cer, Scandium, Hafnium, Silber, Titan, Strontium, Natrium, Kalium, Calcium, Antimon, Schwefel, Barium, Bor, Stickstoff und Kohlenstoff in Summe von 0 bis 4 Gew.-% und als Rest Aluminium und unvermeidbare Verunreinigungen, bei einer durch die oben angegebene Zusammensetzung eingestellten Wärmeleitfähigkeit bei 250 °C von mehr als 178 W/mK.
