Abstract

Eine Wanne mit einer in einer im Bereich einer Seitenwand der Wanne ausgebildeten U-förmigen Öffnung angeordneten Tür, wobei die Tür um eine an der Wanne gehalterte Scharnierachse schwenkbar und zwischen Tür und Wannekörper eine Dichtung angeordnet ist, ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Tür (16) um eine seitlich neben der Öffnung (15) angeordnete Drehachse (18) in die Wanne hinein schwenkbar und an ihrem der Drehachse gegenüberliegenden Ende mittels einer Verriegelungsvorrichtung (27) mit dem Wannenkörper (10) verriegelbar ist, wobei in dem Wannenkörper (10) ein die Öffnung (15) umschließender U-förmiger Verstärkungsrahmen (17) angeordnet ist, an welchem die Drehachse (18) und die Verriegelungsvorrichtung (27) der Tür festgelegt sind.
