Abstract

　本発明の課題は、神経障害に基づく機能不全の改善の有効成分となり得る物質を提供することである。その解決手段としての本発明の神経障害に基づく機能不全の改善剤は、ケラタン硫酸糖鎖骨格中のＮ－アセチルグルコサミニド結合を加水分解するエンド－β－Ｎ－アセチルグルコサミニダーゼ型酵素を有効成分とすることを特徴とする。本発明改善剤を投与することにより、治療対象の運動神経機能不全や、アロデニアや痛覚過敏反応に基づく疼痛に代表される神経因性疼痛等の知覚神経機能不全において臨床的な改善が得られる。
