Abstract

 本発明は、複数のクラッチ及びブレーキのうちの1要素を係合から非係合状態に、他の1要素を非係合から係合状態に同時に切り換えるだけで、適切に離間した前進12速段、後進3速段を簡単な変速制御で達成可能な自動変速機を提供する。  増減速出力装置は、入力軸の回転を減速した減速回転と増速した増速回転を選択的に出力する第2要素と、該入力軸と同一回転数の回転を出力する第3要素を有する。変速用複式プラネタリギヤの第5要素は、第3クラッチを介して減速出力装置の第2要素に連結可能で、第4クラッチを介して第3要素に連結可能で、第1ブレーキを介して固定可能である。第6要素は、第2クラッチを介して入力軸に連結可能で、第2ブレーキを介して固定可能である。第7要素は、前記出力軸に直結され、第8要素は、第1クラッチを介して第2要素に選択的に連結される。
