Abstract

 プラズマディスプレイパネル駆動装置は、プラズマディスプレイパネルの電極に印加する駆動パルスを生成する電極駆動部を備えている。電極駆動部は複数のスイッチを有し、複数のスイッチのうちの少なくとも1つは、デュアルゲート半導体素子を用10いたスイッチ素子である。デュアルゲート半導体素子10は、基板11の上に形成され、窒化物半導体又は炭化珪素からなる半導体で構成された半導体層積層体13と、半導体層積層体13の上に互いに間隔をおいて形成されたソース電極16及びドレイン電極17と、ソース電極16とドレイン電極17との間に、ソース電極16側から順に形成された、第1のゲート電極18A及び第2のゲート電極18Bとを有する。
