Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé permettant de tuer des micro-organismes pathogènes. Grâce à ce procédé, il est aisé de tuer des micro-organismes pathogènes tout en assurant une sécurité élevée du corps humain, sans utiliser de lumière ultraviolette ni d'oxyde de titane. Une substance à traiter est mise en contact avec une composition contenant un agent oxydant, puis irradiée avec de la lumière comportant des rayons qui présentent une ou plusieurs longueurs d'onde dans une plage allant de 400 nm à 1 000 nm. L'utilisation de peroxyde d'hydrogène ou d'acide hypochloreux en tant qu'agent oxydant, conformément à la description ci-dessus, permet de tuer des micro-organismes pathogènes efficacement et en toute sécurité.
