Abstract

 UWB帯域においても良好なVSWR特性を示す小型で複共振可能なアンテナ装置及び無線通信機を提供する。  アンテナ装置1は、基板2と、基板2の角部に表面実装されたアンテナ本体3と、スリット4とを備え、異なる2つの共振周波数で共振する。スリット4は、2つの共振周波数間の周波数のVSWR値を、2つの共振周波数のVSWR値に近づけるためのものであり、容量性調整用スリット部5と誘導性調整用スリット部6とで成る。スリット4は、接地導体面21上を流れる電流の密度が最も高い部位にこの電流の方向と直交するように配設されている。具体的には、放射電極部31の開放端36aの近傍に、開放端36aと平行になるように配設されている。そして、スリット4の長さを、2つの共振周波数の間の周波数のうちVSWR値が最も高い周波数における波長の8分の1に設定した。
