Abstract

 上分割メタルと下分割メタルとからなる上下二分割構造にされて回転軸体を支持するとともに内周面に潤滑溝が形成された軸受メタル11であって、上分割メタル12側に円周方向で形成される潤滑溝については、回転軸体の回転時に、その回転軸心と直交する平面内での当該回転軸体の最大変位方向が上下分割メタル12,13の合わせ面Sより上方である場合に、少なくとも、当該最大変位方向における合わせ面からその合わせ面近傍Mを超えた上方部分Nまで、上側潤滑溝14を配置しないようにすると共に、下分割メタル13側に円周方向で形成される潤滑溝については、上記最大変位方向とは反対側の合わせ面近傍Mに、下側潤滑溝15を配置したものである。
