Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif et un procédé de commande d'un train à un passage à niveau (1). Selon ce procédé, un véhicule ferroviaire présente un dispositif ETCS et des dispositifs de protection des passages à niveau, notamment des barrières de passage à niveau (4, 5), sont commandés par des contacts d'activation (8, 9) côté voie. Le but de l'invention est de permettre une commande ETCS de la marche des trains même au passage à niveau. A cet effet, les dispositifs d'évaluation (15, 16; 23) qui surveillent les dispositifs de protection des passages à niveaux, sont reliés à une balise commutatrice (13, 14), côté voie, disposée derrière le contact d'activation (8, 9) et au moins à une certaine distance du parcours d'arrêt devant le passage à niveau (1), ladite balise commutatrice coopèrant avec le dispositif ETCS du véhicule.
