Description

INVERSION MACHINE AND METHOD
The Related Art
The invention relates to a method for sewing and inversion of fabrics such as bridge, tabs, hangers, laces. The invention particularly relates to sewing machines providing sewing and inversion of fabrics such as bridge, tabs, hangers, laces.
Background of the Invention
Almost all of the products produced in textile sector contains products such as bridge, tabs, hangers, laces and require sewing for preparation of them. The said products are generally located as belt wearing places of the clothes such as pants, skirts. The sewed products are inverted by means of instruments such as rope, pins, wires and similar tools.
Sewing at plain sewing or similar machines and inversion by use of instruments such as rope, pins, wires and similar tools leads to irregularities on the fabric edges in the inner parts. As a result, a poor appearance, thickness differences occur.
Because of manual sewing, the product width is not the same at every part of the product. The products are not at a desired quality and also require high labor force and time. Another method to obtain such products is to try to produce them by means of installing simple apparatus onto hemming machines, plain sewing machine, overlook or printing sewing machines.
The products produced by use of the apparatus installed onto the said machines, the stitch is seen on surface or underneath of the fabric and therefore the stitch is not fully hidden. It causes a bad appearance in classic night dresses.
Even high quality yarn is used in classic style and some sports wearing clothes, stitch on the fabric surface deforms the style of the clothing and therefore appearance of stitch is not desired. Fabric pants, night dresses and swimming suits can be given as examples for such products. The yarns used in existing machines are very special. The said machines cannot run with other yarns. Since the yarn is visible, they must be of the same color as the fabric.
The ironing systems attached to the said machines later meets the steam needs from external steam unit and requires no change in location of the machine in the workshop and factories.
The steam need of those ironing for 8-hour working time is the steam generated by about 2 liters of water. It is needed to convert at least 30 to 150 liters of water at central systems. This causes power loss. In addition, ironing temperature is the same as steam temperature. It is not possible to make adjustment as per type of the fabric.
The operators of the said machines measure the needed products approximately because they do not have measuring systems.
Cola hard materials are necessary in order to produce bridge, tabs, hangers and laces in printing machines because such products are necessary for progress of the fabric in the machine. In addition, tarlatans do not match all fabrics.
The European Patent application numbered EP1576224 included in Turkish patent Institute records reads as following:"A sewing machine with a hook that is drivable in rotation. The said machine also comprises a bobbin case with a lifter cam. A case lifter is provided, having a sensing lever and a lifter lever that bears against a lifter cam. The sensing lever rests on a cam face of an axial cam disk which is mounted on the transmission shaft that actuates a hook-driving shaft."
Similarly, PCT application numbered WO 2000/068482 recorded at Turkish patent Institute reads as following: "The invention relates to a sewing device, comprising a holder for the material to be sewn. The outer contour of said holder corresponds to the dimensions of the material to be sewn to be held therein. Said holder can be displaced in relation to a sewing needle by means of a control device and using X- Y-drive motors. According to the invention, an information support is provided on the holder for the material to be sewn. This information support has all of the information required for controlling the sewing device, for calculating and sewing the seam according to the contour of the holder for the material to be sewn. The inventive sewing device comprises a sensor device read head that is designed for reading out the information from the information support and supplying it to an input of the control device."
Also European patent application numbered EP1160368 reads as following: "It descries a sewing embodiment appropriate for sewing the parts in band form onto edges of fabric parts. For that reason, a sewing machine having a plain sewing head, located onto a portal beam extending the border of a work bench of large application area in a fixed manner. In addition to sewing area, a driving embodiment consisting of two indefinite bands and helping proper convey of the fabric parts so as to sew the zips."
The above mentioned applications provides sewing of fabrics such as bridge, tabs, hangers, laces etc. but fail to eliminate the above mentioned disadvantages occurring after sewing.
Due to the above mentioned disadvantages, it has been necessary to develop an embodiment to for sewing and inversion of fabrics such as bridges, tabs, hangers, laces used in textile sector.

Figure - 1 shows perspective view of the sewing machine disclosed under this invention. The said machine takes the fabric in the adjustable steps of fabric progress from the initial input of the fabric of not appropriate width to the machine by the operator. The adjustable steps (stitch size) provides sewing at desired size by help of stitch size adjustment apparatus (2).
The sewing machine disclosed under this invention in general comprises the steps of cutting sewing inversion by means of knives (3), shaping in U form the fabrics cut at desired width by the said knives (3) by means of at least one form apparatus
(5), convey of the U form shaped fabrics onto at least one form apparatus pipe (6), chain stitch onto the fabric of form apparatus pipe (6) circular shape by means of luper and pin (8) on the bells (7) located on both sides of the said form apparatus pipe (6), puiling the chain sewn fabric by means of at least one pre-transport (10), providing pass through the said form apparatus pipe (6) pushing the fabrics into ironing unit (11 ) for ironing after passing through the said form apparatus pipe (6) and inversion.
Figure 3, Figure 4 and Figure 5 show schematic views indicating steps of the sewing method for different applications of the invention. The upper transport (1) performing transport of the fabric matches the fabric to cutting unit. Here the right and left side of the fabric are cut and calibrated by the knives (3) of adjusted size as indicated in Figure 4 (B2). While the fabric progresses, the waste fabrics are supplied into fabric waste channel (4) located on right and left sides.
The fabrics cut in desired size go into form apparatus (5). The said form apparatus (5) keeps the fabric under its control and brings it into desired profile form from (B3) form into (B7) form. The shape of the said fabric is provided by the geometric structure of the form apparatus (5) moving from lower to upper direction. The said fabric reaches above form apparatus pipe (6) on the axis of the apparatus (5) by help of upper transport (1 ) upon taking U profile shape form.
U Profile fabric provides controlled sewing by means of forming structures called chain by help of luper and pin (8) connected on bells (7) located on both sides of the said form apparatus pipe (6) working in harmony with each other while on the said form apparatus pipe (6). The said luper and pin (8) are the structures capable to provide indefinite chain.
The burnishing (9) connected to the said bells (7) provides opening of the fabric falling outside the sewing after sewing of the fabric taking form of the apparatus pipe (6) into right and left sides and makes it ready for ironing unit (1 1 ).
The fabric sewn on the said form apparatus pipe (6) enters into the pipe (6) where it is sewn in a manner stitches are open to right and left by direction of the chain stitch forced by constant pulling of the said pre transport (10) and proceeds. In other words, the stitch chains located on the fabric are pulled by pre transport (10) and the sewn fabric is forced to pass through the said form apparatus pipe (6). Therefore, the fabric proceeds through the said pipe (6) due to pulling force applied by chain. Passing through the form apparatus pipe (6) the fabric takes shape of the pipe (6) while inversion in the (B10) is performed.
Proceeding from the said pre transport (10) towards next ironing unit (11 ) the fabric passes through the bridge channel (12) providing maintenance of the form same as the profile and reaches rear transport (13) before the ironing unit (11 ) of the machine.
Passing through the said rear transport (13), the fabric is ironed by mean of the heat generated by the resistance (15) located on ironing unit (11 ) of which temperature is adjustable according to the fabric. The temperature adjustment of the said resistance (15) is performed by means of adjustment panel (14).
The ironing unit (1 1 ) irons the fabric passing under iron by pulling of the transport (16) by use of steam of which flow is adjustable. The iron press (18) contacts the fabric and irons the fabric with the heat generated by the said resistance (15) and steam from steam input (17) of the steam unit (20). When operator stops, the ironing press (18) opens and disconnects the contact of the fabric with ironing to prevent deformation of the fabric and cuts the steam from steam unit (20).
When operator resumes the operation, the press is closed again and steam from steam unit (20) starts. Steam units (20) provides steam generation when needed. Thus, power saving is provided. A metering device (21 ) is located to measure the length of the said fabric. Thus, the size of the used fabric is measured.
In a different embodiment of the invention, the said products are sewn by use of tarlatan or similar cola materials. The said tarlatans are included into the system from the tarlatan supply unit (19). Figure 3 shows a schematic view indicating tarlatan fabric inversion steps.
In a different embodiment of the invention, interlining is used with fabric and included in the system from the said upper transport (1 ). The interlining is in harmony with the characteristics of the fabric and therefore provides nice appearance and maintains it for long periods. Figure 5 shows schematic view of the said application. The interlining in roller form passes through the grid and proceeds under the upper transport (1 ) while interlining inversion is realized when fabric is supplied.
The invention cannot be limited to the representative applications given under this part. Alternative embodiments that might be developed by persons skilled in the related art by use of basic factors indicated under Claims shall mean violation.
