Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention is a broadloom melt-cut portion formed upon heat cutting relates woven label and woven tape wrapped with sewing thread to strip, woven labels and woven melt-cut portion of the side edges of the tape with one sewing thread The present invention relates to an edge stitching device that accurately and densely coats.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, a woven label displaying a trademark or a manufacturer name to be sewn on a commercially available textile product is woven into a strip shape by a narrow loom and further cut into pieces. The method of weaving a woven label with a narrow weaving machine has the disadvantages of low production efficiency and high costs, so we woven a wide weaving fabric with synthetic fibers using a high-speed loom such as a rapier loom. The method of heat cutting has become mainstream.
[0003]
When the wide woven fabric is heat-cut into a belt shape, the weft yarn of the wide woven fabric is melt-cut, and linear melt-cut portions are formed on both side edges of the obtained woven tape. The melt-cut portion is a polyester fiber woven fabric and has a hard glass-like shape, and is uncomfortable with the entire structure in touch and appearance. When the edge is bent in order to sew the woven label obtained by cutting the woven tape to the garment, the melted cut portions on both side edges are folded to produce a molten protrusion. When the woven label on which the molten protrusion is generated is sewn on the clothes, if it is underwear, the molten protrusion may come into contact with the user's skin and become uncomfortable, which may injure the skin. In the case of outerwear such as ski wear, the sweater or inner shirt worn underneath may become frayed or fuzzy.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
For woven labels that have been heat-cut from wide woven fabrics, as mentioned above, there are problems when using the melt-cut part, so the woven label manufacturer strongly demands the prevention of the melt-cut part from many users such as apparel manufacturers. Has been. As a measure for preventing the occurrence of the melt cut part, a method of cutting a wide woven fabric with an ultrasonic wave has been proposed at present, but the melted part of the fiber is reduced by the ultrasonic cutting, but the cutting part is easily unraveled, and the weave is cut. Although the label is inferior in durability, it has been put into practical use, but there is a problem.
[0005]
Further, as in Utility Model Registration No. 3045863 , the melt cut portion may be wrapped with a sewing thread by sewing both side edges of the woven label with an overlock sewing machine. In overlock sewing, a pile thread that runs orthogonally and covers an edge, and a sewing thread that is intertwined with the pile thread, the sewing thread that goes straight forward is strongly pulled to hold the pile thread. This sewing thread needs to be positioned somewhat inside from both side edges so as to withstand strong pulling, and the edge sewing width becomes considerably large. Further, since the side edge of the label is wrapped with a thick pile thread, only the stitched portions on both edges are raised, and the thickness of the label is not uniform, which is inconvenient for storage and sewing of the label and is not aesthetically pleasing.
[0006]
The present invention has been proposed in order to improve the above-mentioned problems relating to a woven label obtained by heat-cutting a wide woven fabric into a belt shape, and the melt-cut portions of both side edges can be covered densely with sewing threads. An object of the present invention is to provide an edge stitch label in which the edge stitch width is narrow and the thickness of both edge stitch portions is almost the same as that of the label main body. Another object of the present invention is to provide an edge stitching device that stitches both edges of a woven tape tightly and quickly performs the edge stitching.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above-mentioned object, the woven tape used in the present invention is manufactured by heat-cutting a wide woven fabric at least partially woven with synthetic fiber yarns into a band shape, and melt cut portions are formed on both side edges by this heat cut. Has been. The woven tape shown in FIG. 1 is used as a woven ribbon in the form of a belt depending on the woven pattern to be formed, or cut into sheets in the lateral direction and used as a woven label. The wide woven fabric is woven with, for example, polyester fiber yarn, nylon fiber yarn, cotton yarn and the like, and synthetic fiber yarn is woven into at least the heat cut portion so that the edge is not unraveled when heat cut.
[0008]
As shown in FIG. 3, the woven label of the present invention is melted at both side edges by running a sewing needle along the vicinity of the side edge of the label and performing single ring sewing in which each thread ring portion passes over the side edge. Cover the cut with one thin sewing thread. As the edge sewing thread, the same thread as the weft thread of the tape main body may be used, and the stitched portions on both side edges can be constituted by the same thread as the tape main body. The obtained woven label can have both edge stitched portions approximately the same thickness as the central portion by hot pressing after edge stitching.
[0009]
As shown in FIG. 4, the edge sewing apparatus of the present invention includes a sewing machine that performs single ring sewing with a horizontal operation sewing needle and a looper while intermittently transporting a woven tape with a horizontal presser disc, and the sewing machine. [0011]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
In the woven label 80 (FIG. 2), the sewing thread 29 to be sewed on both side edges can be a thin thread such as a weft thread of the label main body or a thick thread such as a pile thread. Generally, a twisted yarn is used as the sewing thread 29, but even a non-twisted yarn can be used. As shown in FIG. 3, the sewing thread 29 sewed with a single ring has almost no overlapping portion, and the straight portion that does not contribute to the covering of the melt cut portion is only a straight line along the thread piercing points 77a, 77b, 77c. The sewn part does not become thick and there is little bulge in that part. Actually, as shown in FIG. 3, the sewing width is not rough, and the thread ring portions 78 of the sewing thread 29 are in close contact with each other, so that the melt cut portion is almost completely covered.
[0012]
The single-ring stitching machine 3 used in the present invention is known per se, and the horizontal operation sewing needle 22 is injected into the woven tape 34 while the horizontal running woven tape 34 is sandwiched between the presser disks 20 and intermittently fed. A thread ring portion 78 of the sewing thread 29 is formed. Each thread ring portion 78 is guided from the tape back side to the front side by the looper 24 and is sewn by the sewing needle 22. The sewing machine 3 operates intermittently to perform edge stitching, and the sewing machine is operated synchronously with the pair of rollers 10 to prevent the woven tape 34 from being loosened or pulled.
[0013]
The pair of rollers 10 used in the present invention has a function of heat-pressing the edge-stitched woven tape 34 to make the thickness substantially uniform and taking out and feeding out the tape. If not necessary, a pair of rubber rollers may be used. It is also possible to perform only the take-up of the woven tape with a pair of rubber rollers or the like, and to install a separate press device for hot pressing of the tape.
[0014]
In the illustrated edge sewing apparatus 1, one side edge of the woven tape 34 is edge-sewn, and therefore it is necessary to pass the woven tape 34 through the edge sewing apparatus 1 twice to sew both side edges of the tape. In the present invention, when the edge stitching device is appropriately deformed and two units are continuously arranged and the woven tape 34 is conveyed upside down between the two devices, the woven tape 34 passes only once through the device. Edges on both sides of the tape can be sewn.
[0015]
【Example】
Next, the present invention will be described based on examples, but the present invention is not limited to the examples. As shown in FIG. 4, the edge stitching device 1 of the present invention places all members on a single rectangular plate 2, and the plate is movable by a caster (not shown) installed below. On the plate 2, a single-ring sewing machine 3 is installed at the front center of the plate 2, and first and second guide members 5 and 6 are vertically fixed to both front sides of the sewing machine, and both guide members are aligned in parallel with the front surface of the sewing machine. Arranged in a shape. Behind the first guide member 5, a tape mount 7 having a centering rod and a circular seat is vertically attached, and a horizontal guide member 8 is located behind the second guide member 6. The pair of rollers 10 is rotatably installed behind the horizontal guide member 8 on the right side of the plate, and rotates intermittently in synchronization with the sewing machine 3. Further, the thread winding platform 12 for the sewing thread is arranged at the rear center of the plate 2 and is located on the rear side of the sewing machine 3.
[0016]
The single-ring stitch sewing machine 3 is driven by a microcomputer-controlled torque motor (not shown) attached to the back side of the plate 2, and a roller rotating with a pulley 15 fixed thereto via a pulley and a belt 14 fixed to the rotating shaft of the sewing machine. The shaft 16 is rotated synchronously. A semicircular flat projection base 18 is attached to the front center of the sewing machine 3, and a horizontal presser disk 20 is installed close to the peripheral surface of the projection base 18 (see FIG. 6). The presser disc 20 is rotatably supported by an arm (not shown) protruding downward from the upper front of the sewing machine.
[0017]
In the sewing machine 3, the sewing needle 22 is mounted horizontally in the vicinity of the upper surface of the protruding base 18 as shown in FIG. 6 and reciprocates in the horizontal direction up to the presser disk 20. On the other hand, the looper 24 is a claw member attached laterally to the lower end of the vertical bar 26 as shown in FIG. 5, and the vertical bar is fixed to a swinging bar 28 protruding horizontally from the upper front of the sewing machine to the front. As is apparent from the one-dot chain line in FIG. 6, the looper 24 descends to a position 24a behind the needle hole of the needle immediately after the sewing needle 22 moves forward to the front end, rises as the needle 22 moves backward, and reaches the rear end. When retracted, the needle tip is lowered to the front position 24b.
[0018]
The sewing thread 29 passed through the sewing needle 22 is supplied from the thread winding of the mounting table 12 through a thread guide base assembly 30 installed at the top of the sewing machine 3. The mounting table 12 has one or two or more sets of thread spool bars 31 and a thread spool seat 32, and a guide bar 33 is horizontally mounted thereon. The sewing thread 29 that has come out of the spool of the mounting table 12 passes through the guide bar 33 and then is sent out to the thread guide table assembly 30.
[0019]
As shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, the first guide plate 38 having a U-shaped portion 36 for receiving the upper edge portion of the woven tape 34 and the horizontal surface in contact with the lower edge portion of the tape on the front surface of the single ring sewing machine 3. The second guide plate 42 having the portion 40 is adjacently installed almost vertically. The first guide plate 38 is attached so that the U-shaped portion 36 is positioned in the tangential direction on the left side of the presser disk 20, and the nuts 44, 44 can be loosened to change the position in the vertical direction. The second guide plate 42 is positioned below the presser disk 20 and can be repositioned in the vertical direction by adjusting the clamp 46. The vertical distance between the upper surface of the U-shaped portion 36 of the first guide plate 38 and the upper surface of the horizontal portion 40 of the second guide plate 42 corresponds to the lateral width of the woven tape 34 that is horizontally conveyed in the vertical direction.
[0020]
The first and second guide members 5 and 6 shown in FIG. 5 are arranged so as to be aligned with the guide plates 38 and 42 on both front sides of the sewing machine 3. Each of the guide members 5 and 6 includes a guide plate 54 provided with a plurality of guide bars 52 vertically and in parallel between the support plate 48 and the horizontal plate 50 and provided with through holes for fitting with the respective guide bars 52. It is attached between the support plate 48 and the horizontal plate 50. The guide plate 54 can be fixed at an arbitrary horizontal position by loosening butterfly bolts 56 screwed into both end faces in accordance with the width of the traveling woven tape 34. The woven tape 34 passes between the horizontal plate 50 and the guide plate 54 while rotating around the guide bar 52 alternately left and right.
[0021]
On the other hand, the horizontal guide member 8 is positioned behind the second guide member 6 on the plate 2, and the upper end surface of the horizontal guide member 8 is so high that it is approximately halfway between the horizontal plate 50 and the guide plate 54 of the guide member 6. The position can be adjusted. The horizontal guide member 8 has a large number of guide bars 58 installed horizontally and parallel between the upper left and right ends. The woven tape 34 exits the second guide member 6 and changes from the vertical direction to the horizontal direction, and passes through the periphery of the guide bar 58 while alternately rotating up and down.
[0022]
The pair of rollers 10 are arranged side by side in the vertical direction, and are installed on the plate 2 so as to be rotatable behind the horizontal guide member 8. The pair of rollers 10 can adjust the pressing force by pressing the upper roller to the lower roller with bolts 60 on both the left and right sides. Below the roller 10, an opening (not shown) is provided in the plate 2, and the woven tape 34 taken up by the pair of rollers 10 is sent out below the plate 10 and is rotated intermittently in synchronization with the sewing machine 3. The pair of rollers 10 is a heatable metal roller that heat-presses the woven tape 34 after edge stitching. The roller surface is knurled or covered with a cylindrical cloth so that the surface of the tape does not shine. Yes.
[0023]
The woven tape 34 used in the present invention is manufactured, for example, by heat-cutting a wide woven fabric 62 shown in FIG. 7 into a belt shape, and synthetic fiber yarns are at least partially woven into the woven fabric. For weaving the wide fabric 62, a pattern weaving mechanism 64 as illustrated in FIG. 8 is used. The mechanism includes a wide weaving machine 66 such as a high speed operation rapier loom, a projectile loom, an air jet loom, etc. A jacquard machine 67 that performs warp yarn opening movement when weaving is combined. In the jacquard machine 67, the wide loom 66 weaves a complex pattern according to the pattern of the pattern paper, and the wide woven fabric 62 having a pattern in which the woven tape portion 34a is arranged in a strip shape is woven.
[0024]
The obtained wide woven fabric 62 has a width of 70 to 260 cm, and is heat-cut between the guide yarns 70 and 70, for example, in a belt shape by a heat cutting device installed in front of or behind the breast beam 68 of the wide loom 66. The heating and cutting apparatus is composed of a number of knives 72 arranged in parallel at regular intervals, and each knife is usually heated to about 280 ° C., which is higher than the melting point of the polyester fiber. A large number of heat cut woven tapes 34 have linear melt cut portions on both side edges, and each tape is wound around a core 74 by a wide loom 66.
[0025]
The woven tape 34 wraps the melt cut portion of the tape side edge with the sewing thread 29 by passing the edge sewing device 1 shown in FIG. In the edge sewing device 1, the tape winding core 74 is placed on the circular seat of the placing table 7, and the woven tape 34 is pulled out from the winding core and conveyed in the horizontal direction by the first guide member 5. The first guide member 5 feeds the woven tape 34 in the vertical direction to the single ring sewing machine 3, and the woven tape 34 is placed between the U-shaped portion 36 of the first guide plate 38 and the horizontal portion 40 of the second guide plate 42. Position it accurately and send it to the right with the presser disc 20. Since the portion of the woven tape 34 that protrudes from the surface of the presser disk 20 becomes the edge stitching width 76 (FIG. 1), the edge stitching width 76 can be easily adjusted by increasing or decreasing the protruding distance from the disk surface.
[0026]
The single ring sewing by the sewing machine 3 will be described with reference to FIG. 3. When the sewing needle 22 advances and pierces the woven tape 34 that is stopped at a point 77 a, the sewing thread 29 that has passed through the needle hole passes through the woven tape 34 together with the sewing needle 22. The thread ring portion 78 is formed on the back side of the tape. As shown by the one-dot chain line in FIG. 6, immediately after the sewing needle 22 advances to the front end, the looper 24 descends to a position 24a behind the needle hole of the sewing needle 22 on the back side of the tape, and hooks and raises the thread ring portion 78. . When the sewing needle 22 moves backward and comes out of the woven tape 34, the woven tape 34 moves to the left by the distance d. The looper 24 ascends while the thread needle 78 is hooked with the retraction of the sewing needle 22, further moves forward in the drawing, and starts to descend again when it reaches the front side of the tape.
[0027]
When the sewing needle 22 is retracted to the rear end as shown by a solid line in FIG. 6, the looper 24 with the thread ring portion 78 hooked is lowered to the front position 24b of the needle tip. When the sewing needle 22 moves forward again, the sewing needle passes through the thread ring portion 78 guided by the looper 24 on the tape front side, and then pierces the woven tape 34 at a point 77b. As a result, the thread ring portion 78 of the sewing thread 29 can be sewn to the tape side edge. As the sewing needle 22 advances, the looper 24 from which the thread ring portion 78 has come off starts to rise, and the thread ring portion 78 can be sewn at the point 77c by the same operation as described above. Hereinafter, the above operation is repeated to perform edge stitching.
[0028]
As is apparent from FIG. 3, the woven tape 34 that has passed through the edge stitching device 1 is continuously formed without overlapping the seam along the melt cut portion of the tape side edge with one sewing thread 29. As shown in FIG. 3, the melt-cut portion can be almost completely covered even with the thin sewing thread 29 without causing a gap. In the edge sewing device 1, one side edge of the woven tape 34 is edge-sewn, and when the woven tape 34 is passed twice through the edge sewing device 1, both side edges of the tape can be edge-sewn. Since the melt cut portions on both sides of the tape are covered with the sewing thread 29, the woven ribbon can be used as it is. In the case of the woven ribbon, the design and the color of the sewing thread 29 may be changed to change the design. .
[0029]
In order to obtain the woven label 80 (FIG. 2), the woven tape having both side edges sewn is further heat-cut in the horizontal direction for each label with a separate heat-cutting device (not shown) (see the one-dot chain line in FIG. 1). ). In the subsequent folding process, the obtained rectangular woven label 80 is end-held or center-held along the one-dot chain line in FIG. 2 and then pressed. At this time, a melted protrusion or the like is generated at the corner of the bent portion. There is nothing. The woven label 80 is sewn at a predetermined position in clothing such as a blouson or a cutter shirt after the end hold or the center hold.
[0030]
Since the woven label 80 uses the thin sewing thread 29 and the thread piercing points 77a, 77b, and 77c are only one line in a straight line, the edge sewing width 76 can be increased only by increasing or decreasing the protruding distance from the surface of the presser disk 20. It can be easily adjusted, and by reducing the edge stitching width 76, the appearance of the label is not impaired. Since the woven label 80 can be sewn with the thin sewing thread 29, the weft thread of the label main body can be used as the sewing thread 29, and the color and pattern of the entire label can be unified. When the woven label 80 is hot-pressed by a pair of heating rollers 10, the stitches on both edges are not raised on the surface of the label, and the thickness becomes uniform, so that the label can be stored and sewn onto clothes. .
[0031]
【The invention's effect】
The woven label according to the present invention can narrow the edge stitch width using a thin sewing thread as compared with the case where both side edges are sewn with an overlock sewing machine, and if the sewing thread is a weft thread of the label body, the entire label The colors and patterns are unified, which is aesthetically preferable. In the woven label of the present invention, both edge stitches are not raised and the thickness of the label is uniform, which is advantageous in storing the label and sewing it on clothes.
[0032]
In the woven label according to the present invention, the melt-cut portions on both side edges formed by heat cutting are densely covered with the sewing thread so as not to be exposed, and even when the woven label is bent, no melted protrusion is generated. Therefore, when this woven label is sewn on the underwear, the woven label will not damage the skin or cause rashes, and even if it is sewn on an outer garment such as ski wear, the sweater or inner shirt worn underneath will fray. Or fuzzy.
[0033]
The edge stitching device according to the present invention densely sews a woven tape with one sewing thread, and when the edge is sewn, the tape is accurately fed to a single-ring sewing machine, and the woven tape is displaced or twisted. Prevent edge stitching. With the edge stitching device of the present invention, in the process of manufacturing a woven label or woven ribbon, it is only necessary to add an edge stitching process on both sides of the tape before the label cutting / bending process. Without hindering production, the production cost hardly increases due to labor saving.
