Abstract

 水素化ホウ素ナトリウム等の金属水素化化合物と塩化コバルト等の加水分解反応を触媒する化合物をポリエチレングリコール(PEG)中に溶融包埋することで水と反応して水素を発生する水素発生剤が得られた。この水素発生剤中の金属水素化化合物及び触媒の粒子表面はPEGで完全に被覆されているため取り扱いの容易な水素発生剤となった。溶融包埋する触媒の種類や量を選択する事で水素発生剤からの水素発生速度を制御する事も出来た。これらの水素発生剤を収容した容器と水を収容した容器でコンパクトな水素発生装置が設計可能となった。
