Abstract

Cette invention se rapporte à un détecteur de rotation présentant une structure simple et capable de détecter de manière précise un angle absolu avec une résolution élevée, et à un palier équipé du détecteur de rotation. Le détecteur de rotation (1) comprend : deux encodeurs magnétiques (2A, 2B) qui ont la forme d'anneaux coaxiaux, et qui comportent des configurations de chaîne magnétique (2Aa, 2Ba) présentant des nombres de pôles magnétiques mutuellement différents, ces pôles magnétiques étant agencés sur la périphérie de chaque encodeur magnétique ; et des capteurs magnétiques (3A, 3B) détectant chacun le champ magnétique de chacun des encodeurs magnétiques (2A, 2B). Les capteurs magnétiques respectifs (3A, 3B) présentent une fonction consistant à détecter des informations sur les positions des encodeurs magnétiques (2A, 2B) dans les pôles magnétiques. Le détecteur de rotation (1) comprend des moyens de détection de différence de phase (6) qui obtiennent la différence de phase entre des signaux de champ magnétique détectés par les capteurs magnétiques respectifs (3A, 3B) et des moyens de calcul d'angle (7) qui calculent les angles absolus des encodeurs magnétiques en fonction de la différence de phase détectée. Un espace (12) est présent entre les configurations de chaîne magnétique (2Aa, 2Ba) des deux encodeurs magnétiques (2A, 2B).
