Abstract

 断面における中心部の第1のセル5aから、断面における最外周の不完全なセルを除いた外周部の第1のセル5aに向かい第1のセル5aの開口率が連続的に又は段階的に大きくなるように形成する。具体的には、第1のセル5aと第1のセル5aとの隔壁の厚さを厚く形成する。また、第1のセル5aと第2のセル5bとの開口率の差を小さく形成する。本発明のハニカムセグメント及びハニカム構造体は、熱伝導率の違いによるヒートスポットが発生してクラックが生じることを防止することができる。
