Abstract

 本発明は、屈曲振動を含む複数の振動を行うアクチュエータ本体を備えた超音波アクチュエータに関するものである。  駆動子によるアクチュエータ本体の振動の阻害を抑制することと、アクチュエータ本体への駆動子の取付強度を確保することとを両立させる。  超音波アクチュエータ(3)は、屈曲振動を含む複数の振動を行うアクチュエータ本体(4)と、アクチュエータ本体(4)の長辺側面(40b)に取り付けられて、アクチュエータ本体(4)の振動に従って周回運動することで駆動力を出力する駆動子(5)とを備えている。駆動子(5)は、取付用の取付面(51)が形成されていて、取付面(51)を介して長辺側面(40b)に面接触状態で取り付けられている。取付面(51)の長辺側面(40b)の長手方向への幅は、駆動子(5)の長辺側面(40b)の長手方向への最大幅よりも小さい。
