Abstract

　基板１１上に形成した陽極である下部電極１２の上に、電子受容材料からなる層と、ホール輸送材料からなる層とを積層形成した後、積層構造体を、ホール輸送材料のガラス転移温度より３０°C低い温度から、ホール輸送材料のガラス転移温度より２００°C高い温度の範囲で加熱する。これにより、電子受容材料とホール輸送材料との酸化還元反応を生じさせて、電子受容層１３ａとホール輸送層１３ｂの間に、電荷移動錯体を含む界面領域１３ｃを生成させる。その後、発光層１４と陰極である上部電極１５とを順次形成する。
