Abstract

  従来実用化が難しかった空気中などの気体中(乾式)で動作する高分子フィルム又は繊維を用いた高分子アクチュエータ素子(1)を提供する。また、前記高分子アクチュエータ素子を用いた点字用ディスプレイを提供する。 外部刺激により伸縮する高分子フィルム(17)の一端を固定端、他端を可動端とし、ケース(26)に収納し、前記可動端の近傍に所定長のロッド(12)の一端を固着するとともに前記ロッドの他端を開放端とし、前記高分子フィルムの伸縮により、前記ロッドの先端(22)が前記ケースの外側に突出するように構成する。
