Abstract

 空気中などの気体中(乾式)で、素早く、繰り返し伸張、収縮、変形することができる高分子フィルム又は繊維であって、その変形率が4%以上の高分子フィルム又は繊維を提供する。  外部刺激により伸縮する高分子フィルムを用いた高分子アクチュエータにおいて、前記高分子フィルムは湿度および/又は温度が調節された環境下に設ける。前記高分子フィルムは、外部刺激による水分子の吸脱着で伸縮し、相対湿度が80%から100%の範囲内で調節されていることが好ましい。
