Abstract

L'invention concerne un agent pour réduire la production de fumée lors du chauffage ou de la combustion d'une résine organique contenant un halogène, qui ne contient pas de bore et qui comporte un verre de phosphate ayant un faible point de fusion et une excellente résistance à l'eau. L'invention concerne également une composition contenant une résine ayant une excellente capacité au moulage, qui comporte l'agent. L'invention propose particulièrement un agent de réduction de la production de fumée lors de la combustion d'une résine organique contenant un halogène, qui présente la composition suivante telle que représentée ci-dessous en termes de teneur en oxydes (par mole) et qui contient un verre de phosphate ayant une température de transition vitreuse d'au plus 400°C : P2O5 : 20 à 40 %, ZnO : 56 à 65 %, SO3 : 0,5 à 12 % et Li2O+Na2O+K2O : 3 à 20 %, pourvu que Li2O : 0 à 5 %, Na2O : 3 à 15 % et K2O : 0 à 10 %.
