Abstract

　光源と光ファイババンドルとの結合効率を向上する。 　光ファイババンドル１１は、複数本の光ファイバ２を束ねた密集束で構成され、この複数本束ねられた光ファイバ２の先端部を溶融一体化して形成した一体化部１２を備え、一体化部１２の側面１２ｂが、光ファイババンドル１１の中心軸に沿う縦断面において、一体化部１２の先端面側の端点と後端側の端点とを結ぶ直線よりも径方向外側に凸となる弧状となり、かつ光ファイババンドル１１の一体化部１２以外の部分の輪郭をなす線の一体化部１２側への延長線よりも径方向内側になるように形成されている。
