Abstract

 式(1)で示される遷移金属錯体を触媒成分として含むオレフィン重合用触媒の存在下、1-ブテンおよびエチレンを共重合することを含んでなる、1-ブテン含量が60mol%以上、Mwが200,000以上及びMw/Mnが3以下であるブテン-エチレン共重合体を得ることを特徴とするブテン-エチレン共重合体の製造方法: 式(1)(式中、M,A,B,Flu,X1,X2,R1-R6の定義は明細書の記載を参照。)。 この製造方法によれば、高い1-ブテン含量の高分子量エチレン-ブテンを得ることができる。
