Abstract

　画像供給装置（１，１’）から画像表示装置（２，２’）へ画像データを送信する際の最適な画像送信方式を決定する方法であって、前記画像供給装置（１，１’）から前記画像表示装置（２，２’）までの伝送路が確立された後で前記画像データの送信前に、前記画像供給装置（１，１’）が取得した前記画像表示装置（２，２’）のケーパビリティと伝送路情報とのうち少なくとも一方に応じた最適の画像送信方式を導き出すように予め作成されている対応テーブルに基づいて画像送信方式を決定する。
