Abstract

　本発明は、中性からアルカリ性側にその反応至適ｐＨを有する極めて有用な新規なβ－ガラクトシド－α２，６－シアル酸転移酵素および当該シアル酸転移酵素をコードする核酸を提供する。本発明はさらに、当該シアル酸転移酵素をコードする核酸を含むベクター、および当該ベクターで形質転換した宿主細胞を提供すると共に、組換えβ－ガラクトシド－α２，６－シアル酸転移酵素を製造する方法を提供する。
