Abstract

L'invention porte sur un procédé de séparation qui permet de séparer et de récupérer de manière efficace d'un composé inorganique nocif un composé métallique organique, qui présente une faible toxicité. De façon précise, l'invention porte sur un procédé de séparation qui est caractérisé par le fait qu'un absorbant contenant un composé de métal des terres rares est mis en contact avec un matériau à traiter contenant un composé organométallique et un composé inorganique pour amener l'absorbant à absorber de façon sélective le composé inorganique dans le matériau, séparant ainsi le composé organométallique de celui-ci. Dans un mode de réalisation préféré de ce procédé de séparation, le composé de métal des terres rares est un oxyde, un hydrate ou un hydroxyde d'au moins un élément sélectionné parmi le groupe constitué par le cérium (Ce), le samarium (Sm), le néodyme (Nd), le gadolinium (Gd), le lanthane (La) et l'yttrium (Y).
