Abstract

La présente invention concerne un outil de coupe dont la résistance à l'abrasion et la résistance à l'écaillage sont simultanément excellentes. Au cours de la production d'un outil de coupe présentant un matériau de base, pourvu d'une couche sur sa surface, avant la formation de la couche, le premier travail consistant à lisser la surface du matériau de base et le second travail consistant à pourvoir la surface du matériau de base d'une partie évidée par des moyens physiques sont réalisés. L'outil de coupe résultant est composé d'un matériau de base présentant une phase dure et une phase de collage destinée à coller la phase dure et une couche formée sur la surface du matériau de base, la surface du matériau de base étant constituée d'une partie de surface lisse de la phase dure et d'une partie évidée dotée d'une surface soit de la phase de collage soit de la phase dure conjointement avec la phase de collage.
