Abstract

Cette structure d'assise ou de couchage, solidaire d'une structure de sommier, siège, matelas ou oreiller, comprend: des éléments supports de moyens de soutien corporel; et des organes qui portent au moins deux desdits éléments supports associés, de manière à réaliser leur liaison et à autoriser leurs mouvements l'un par rapport à l'autre, cela selon une direction verticale ou sensiblement verticale, pour tendre à auto-équilibrer les efforts d'appui sur lesdits moyens de soutien corporel. Conformément à la présente invention, ces organes de liaison se présentent chacun sous la forme d'un organe de basculement (4) monté à pivot (7) sur le châssis (6) de la structure, ledit organe de basculement (4) portant lesdits éléments (3) supports des moyens de soutien corporel (2) par l'intermédiaire d'éléments de liaison (5) souples ou rigides agissant en traction, les deux extrémités de chacun desdits éléments de liaison (5) étant solidarisées de manière pivotante par une articulation (5'), respectivement avec ledit élément support (3) associé et ledit organe de basculement (4) associé.
