La presente invención desarrolla un utillaje para la fabricación, mediante procesos de inyección y curado, de preformas de cuadernas de material compuesto para fuselajes aeronáuticos mediante la utilización de la tecnología de RTM (Moldeo por Transferencia de Resina). Así, se fabrican dos preformas, una con sección en forma de C y otra con sección en forma de L, junto con las preformas de los resaltes de estabilización del alma de las cuadernas y la preforma del roving o fibra cortada para cubrir el hueco entre la preforma en C y la preforma en L. Estas preformas se fabrican previamente por cualquier proceso de fabricación de preformas conocido. Según un segundo aspecto, la presente invención desarrolla un método de fabricación de cuadernas de carga para aeronave en material compuesto.
Description
UTILLAJE Y MÉTODO DE FABRICACIÓN DE CUADERNAS DE AERONAVE EN MATERIAL COMPUESTO
CAMPO DE LA INVENCIÓN
La presente invención se refiere a un utillaje para ia fabricación de cuadernas de material compuesto para aeronave, así como a un método de fabricación de dichas cuadernas en material compuesto.
ANTECEDENTES DE LA INVENCIÓN
Las cuadernas de carga, además de dar forma y rigidez al fuselaje de una aeronave, son los elementos estructurales encargados de soportar y transferir las cargas provenientes de otros elementos estructurales de Ia aeronave, tales como las alas o los estabilizadores.
En Ia técnica conocida, Ia fabricación de las cuadernas se realiza a base de estructuras metálicas mecanizadas o de estructuras de chapa metálica conformada en las cuales se refuerza con piezas mecanizadas Ia parte que más carga soporta. En el caso de chapa metálica conformada, se obtiene Ia sección que se utiliza normalmente en dos trozos: por un lado se fabrica Ia Z, y por otro lado, se fabrican los angulares que se remachan a Ia sección anterior. Este proceso tiene el inconveniente de que son necesarios grandes tiempos de montaje y que el peso resultante es muy superior ai que sería deseable. La presente invención está orientada a Ia solución de estos inconvenientes.
SUMARIO DE LA INVENCIÓN
La presente invención se refiere, en un primer aspecto, a un utillaje para
Ia fabricación de cuadernas de carga de una aeronave tal que Ia sección de Ia estructura de las cuadernas obtenidas se realiza de forma integrada de tal
modo que el peso resultante esté optimizado. A! mismo tiempo, el método de fabricación propuesto por la presente invención se realiza mediante un proceso repetitivo con cortos tiempos en los ciclos de curado, de tal forma que se disminuyan los tiempos de montaje necesarios. Así, Ia presente invención desarrolla un utillaje para Ia fabricación, mediante procesos de inyección y curado, de preformas de cuadernas de material compuesto para fuselajes aeronáuticos mediante Ia utilización de Ia tecnología de RTM (Moldeo por Transferencia de Resina). Así, se fabrican dos preformas, una con sección en forma de C y otra con sección en forma de Lt junto con ias preformas de los resaltes de estabilización del alma de las cuadernas y Ia preforma del roving o fibra cortada para cubrir e! hueco entre Ia preforma en C y Ia preforma en L. Estas preformas se fabrican previamente por cualquier proceso de fabricación de preformas conocido.
Según un segundo aspecto, Ia presente invención desarrolla un método de fabricación de cuadernas de carga para aeronave en material compuesto.
Así, mediante el utillaje y el método de fabricación de Ia presente invención se obtienen cuadernas de carga de material compuesto para aeronave con las siguientes ventajas:
- Se fabrican cuadernas de geometrías complicadas e integradas, cumpliendo con el objetivo buscado en toda estructura.
- Se solventa el problema del acabado superficial sólo por una cara añadiéndole una alta precisión dimensional sin existir estricción de radios, por tratarse de un molde cerrado.
- Se mejora el control de espesores (alcanzando tolerancias < 0,2 mm), sean cual sean estos, consiguiendo, por tanto, un buen ajuste entre Ia faldilla exterior de las cuadernas con el revestimiento y ios largueriilos que rigidizan el mismo.
- El proceso es repetitivo con cortos tiempos de ciclos de curado, Io cual reduce Ia duración del proceso de fabricación. Otras características y ventajas de Ia presente invención se harán evidentes de Ia siguiente descripción detallada de las realizaciones, ilustrativas de su objeto, junto con las figuras adjuntas.
DESCRIPCIÓN DE LAS FIGURAS
La Figura 1 muestra Ia sección de una cuaderna de carga de aeronave metálica conocida. La Figura 2 muestra Ia sección de una cuaderna de carga de aeronave realizada en material compuesto según Ia presente invención.
Las Figuras 3a y 3b muestran vistas en perspectiva de Ia cuaderna de carga de aeronave en materia! compuesto terminada, impregnada y curada con e! utillaje y el método de ía presente invención. La figura 4 muestra una preforma en forma de C de Ia cuaderna de carga de aeronave realizada en material compuesto según Ia invención.

DESCRIPCIÓN DETALLADA DE LA INVENCIÓN
La presente invención se refiere, en un primer aspecto, a un utillaje para inyectar y curar las preformas de una cuaderna 2 de fuselaje aeronáutico en material compuesto. La sección a fabricar está formada por una preforma 3 en C (Figura 4) y por una preforma angular 4 en forma de L (Figura 5), además de distintos resaltes 5 de estabilización del alma (Figura 6) y de una preforma 6 del roving o fibra cortada (Figura 7). Esta disposición de preformas permite Ia fabricación de cuadernas 2 de carga de aeronave con las piezas de unión a Ia siguiente cuaderna integradas, según puede observarse en Ia Figura 8. Las preformas están constituidas por tejido y refuerzos con cinta unidireccional en Ia faldilia interior para aumentar su momento de inercia, y, por consiguiente, su rigidez.
Asimismo, el utillaje objeto de Ia invención comprende los siguientes elementos: utillaje de inyección y curado 7, sistema de vacío 8 y sistema de cierre y calentamiento .
Utiiiaie de invección y curado 7
El útil de inyección y curado 7 consta de distintos componentes: - Bañera 10. Es ei elemento base, dentro del cual se colocan el resto de elementos que conforman el utillaje 7 así como las preformas 3, 4, 5 y 6 a ser inyectadas y curadas simultáneamente. Este elemento integra los taladros de inyección y extracción de resina, el cana! de distribución de resina, el sistema de sellado para Ia posterior aplicación de vacío y los termopares para el control térmico del utillaje 7 durante el cicio de calentamiento. - Conjunto de machos 11. Son el conjunto de machos mecanizados que van debajo de Ia preforma 3 en C. Permiten desmoldear Ia cuaderna 2
sin dificultad. Estos machos van partidos en longitud, para facilitar el desmoldeo y Ia manipulación.
- Conjunto de machos12. Son el conjunto de machos superiores que dan Ia forma a la cuaderna 2 por e! lado de Ia faldilla exterior, es decir, la que va en contacto con el revestimiento del fuselaje y los pies de los largueriíios. Copia toda Ia geometría del revestimiento sobre el que apoya, así como la forma de los pies de los larguerillos, al tiempo que incorpora ranuras por su superficie superior para Ia inyección de resina. Estas ranuras desembocan en los taladros de entrada y salida de Ia bañera 10. Los machos 12 van partidos longitudinalmente para facilitar su manipulación.
- Conjunto de machos13. Son el conjunto de machos superiores que dan Ia forma a la cuaderna 2 por el lado de ía faldilla interior, es decir, Ia que va por Ia parte más interior del fuselaje y que sirve para rigidizar ¡a sección de Ia citada cuaderna 2. En esta faldilla es donde van colocados los refuerzos de cinta unidireccional que da rigidez a Ia cuaderna 2. Incorpora ranuras por su superficie inferior para permitir la extracción de resina. Estas ranuras desembocan en los taladros de salida de resina de la bañera 10, - Conjunto de machos 14. Son los machos que van a ambos lados de los resaltes 5 de estabilización del alma de Ia cuaderna 2, y que por tanto, van colocados entre dos machos 11. Están provistos de un canal de salida de resina para permitir Ia correcta impregnación de los resaltes 5. Su diseño ha de ser tal que permita el desmoldeo. - Tapa 15. Es Ia parte superior del utillaje 7, produciendo el sellado de dicho utillaje 7 contra la bañera 10, al sistema de sellado que incorpora dicha bañera 10. La tapa 15 es plana para garantizar de una forma sencilla y eficaz el nivel de vacío requerido dentro del utillaje 7. Incorpora termopares para eí control térmico del utillaje 7 durante el ciclo de calentamiento del mismo.
Sistema de vacío 8
El sistema de vacío 8 comprende los siguientes elementos:
- Conjunto de gomas de seüado 16, dispuestas en unas ranuras en Ia parte superior de Ia bañera 10. - Sistema de tubos huecos de silicona 20, 22 que unen el utillaje 7 con la bomba de vacío 17 y Ia máquina de inyección de resina 19.
- Circuito de vacío 21. Circuito de tubos estancos 23 (metálicos o no) al que van los tubos de siíicona que salen del utillaje 7 de inyección y curado, y del que sale otro tubo de silicona 22 que va a ia bomba de vacío 17. Se trata pues de un circuito dispuesto sobre Ia prensa 18 y que une los distintos puntos de extracción de resina del utillaje 7 entre sí. La conexión entre el circuito de vacío 21 y ios tubos de silicona 20 que van al utillaje 7 se hace a través de racores estancos. Para evitar que Ia resina pueda introducirse en el circuito de vacío 21 , Ia unión se hace a través de unos vasos de expansión o purgadores, a los cuales caería Ia resina si por accidente llegara hasta esa posición.
- Bomba de vacío 17. Capaz de alcanzar un nivel de vacío de 0,5 mbar. Sistema de cierre y calentamiento
Siguiendo el concepto de utillaje 7 de inyección y curado detallado en esta invención se pueden usar dos procedimientos de cierre y calentamiento de¡ utillaje 7 para el proceso de inyección y curado de Ia resina:
- Prensa de platos calientes 18. Consiste en unas prensas hidráulicas o neumáticas, con Ia geometría de Ia envolvente de todas aquellas cuadernas 2 que se quieran fabricar, con el siguiente concepto básico de funcionamiento: i. Cilindros empujadores en parte superior de la prensa, reaccionando contra unas columnas que van al suelo, ii. Carro inferior con desplazamiento horizontal, para introducción y extracción de útiles en Ia prensa. iii. Placa superior calefactada. iv. Placa inferior calefactada.

v. Sistema de control de presión y temperatura con autómata programabie. vi. Campana de aislamiento que evita fugas de calor durante ei ciclo térmico. vii. Sistema de pasamuros para pasar los tubos de inyección y extracción de resina del sistema de inyección al utillaje 7. viii. Sistema de conexiones para los termopares alojados en el utillaje 7, de modo que el autómata programabie controle las distintas zonas de calentamiento de Ia los platos de Ia prensa, en función de Ia temperatura local de! utillaje 7.
- Inyección y curado en autoclave. En este caso, Ia presión de cierre Ia ejerce el autoclave, para Io cual es necesario cerrar el utillaje 7 con una bolsa de vacío. Los tubos de inyección y extracción de resina deben ser capaces de aguantar Ia presión del autoclave sin que se colapsen, con
Io que irán conectados al pasamuros del autoclave para conectar dicho autoclave con el sistema de inyección de resina.
Según un segundo aspecto, Ia presente invención desarrolla un método de fabricación de cuadernas de carga para aeronave en material compuesto que comprende las siguientes etapas:
1. Coiocación y cierre del utillaje 7 de inyectar y curar.
2. Colocación del utillaje 7 sobre ia prensa de inyección y curado 18.
3. Conexión del sistema de vacío 8. 4. Aplicación de presión a Ia prensa 18, para realizar el cierre del utillaje
7 y asegurar Ia estanqueidad.
5. Calentamiento de! utillaje 7 hasta la temperatura de inyección.
6. Aplicación de vacío al utillaje 7, a través del sistema de vacío 8.
7. Inyección de Ia resina. 8. Estranguíamiento de los tubos de siiicona 20 una vez Ia resina ha rebosado por ias mangueras de inyección.
9. Aplicación de presión de compactación a Ia máquina de inyección 19, hasta 3 bar, es decir, Ia resina que va por ei tubo de entrada deí útil, entra con 3 bar de presión.
10. Rampa de calentamiento hasta Ia temperatura de curado. 11. Mantenimiento de Ia temperatura de curado.
12. Enfriamiento.
13. Desmoldeo.
Se pueden introducir en la realización preferida que hemos descrito aquellas modificaciones que estén comprendidas en el ámbito de las reivindicaciones siguientes.
Claims
1. Utillaje para inyectar y curar preformas de una cuaderna (2) de fuselaje aeronáutico en material compuesto, caracterizado porque el citado utillaje conforma preformas que comprenden al menos una preforma (3) en forma de C, al menos una preforma angular (4) en forma de L, al menos un resalte (5) de estabilización del alma de ia cuaderna (2) y al menos una preforma (6) del roving o fibra cortada en ia unión entre Ia preforma (3) en forma de C y la preforma angular (4) en forma de L, y porque el citado utillaje comprende un utillaje de inyección y curado (7) que inyecta y cura resina para Ia fabricación de las preformas, un sistema de vacío (8) que permite conformar las preformas anteriores mediante ía aplicación de vacío y un sistema de cierre y caientamiento taí que Ia sección de Ia estructura de las cuadernas (2) mediante las preformas anteriores está integrada en una pieza.
2. Utillaje para inyectar y curar preformas de una cuaderna (2) de fuselaje aeronáutico según Ia reivindicación 1 caracterizado porque las preformas (3, 4, 5 y 6) se fabrican mediante Ia tecnología de RTM (Moideo por Transferencia de Resina).
3, Utillaje para inyectar y curar preformas de una cuaderna (2) de fuselaje aeronáutico según cualquiera de las reivindicaciones anteriores caracterizado porque las preformas (3, 4, 5 y 6) comprenden tejido y refuerzos con cinta unidireccional en su faldiila interior para aumentar su momento de inercia y, en consecuencia, su rigidez. 4. Utillaje para inyectar y curar preformas de una cuaderna (2) de fuseiaje aeronáutico según cualquiera de las reivindicaciones anteriores caracterizado porque el útil de inyección y curado (7) comprende una bañera (10) donde se colocan el resto de los elementos que conforman el utillaje (7) y las preformas (3,
4, 5 y 6), un conjunto de machos (11) que van debajo de Ia preforma (3) en C, un conjunto de machos (12) superiores que dan forma a Ia cuaderna (2) por el lado de Ia faldiila exterior, un conjunto de machos (13) superiores que dan forma a Ia cuaderna (2) por el lado de Ia faldilla interior, un conjunto de machos (14) que van dispuestos a ambos lados de los resaltes (5) de estabilización del alma de Ia cuaderna (2) y una tapa (15) que sella el utillaje (7) contra Ia bañera (10).
5. Utillaje para inyectar y curar preformas de una cuaderna (2) de fuselaje aeronáutico según cuaiquiera de las reivindicaciones anteriores caracterizado porque el sistema de vacío (8) comprende un conjunto de gomas de sellado (16) dispuestas en Ia parte superior de Ia bañera (10), una bomba de vacío (17), un sistema de tubos (20, 22) que unen el utillaje (7) con una máquina de inyección de resina (19) y con Ia bomba de vacío (17), y un circuito de vacío (21) que encierra ei utillaje (7) y del que salen tubos (20, 22) que unen dicho utillaje (7) con Ia bomba de vacío (17) y con Ia máquina de inyección de resina (19).
6. Utillaje para inyectar y curar preformas de una cuaderna (2) de fuselaje aeronáutico según cualquiera de las reivindicaciones anteriores caracterizado porque el sistema de cierre y calentamiento comprende una prensa de platos calientes (18).
7. Utillaje para inyectar y curar preformas de una cuaderna (2) de fuselaje aeronáutico según cualquiera de las reivindicaciones anteriores caracterizado porque el sistema de cierre y calentamiento comprende un autoclave.
8. Método de fabricación de cuadernas (2) de fuselaje aeronáutico en material compuesto que comprende las siguientes etapas: a) Colocación y cierre del utillaje (7) de inyectar y curar. b) Colocación del utillaje (7) sobre el sistema de cierre y calentamiento. c) Conexión del sistema de vacío (8). d) Aplicación de presión ai sistema de cierre y calentamiento, para realizar e! cierre del utillaje (7) y asegurar Ia estanqueidad. e) Calentamiento del utillaje (7) hasta Ia temperatura de inyección. f) Aplicación de vacío al utillaje (7), a través del sistema de vacío (8). g) Inyección de Ia resina. - li ¬
li) Estrangulamiento dθ los tubos (20) una vez Ia resina ha rebosado por los puntos de inyección, i) Apiicación de presión de compactación a Ia máquina de inyección
