Abstract

　データ送受信機能とハンドオーバー制御部とを備えた無線端末を構成する。ハンドオーバー制御部は、利用可能なすべての無線チャネルでハンドオーバー先の存在の有無をスキャンする。ハンドオーバー制御部は、ハンドオーバー実行前に事前にハンドオーバー先の存在の有無をスキャンすることにより、ハンドオーバー先の候補を取得し、その候補が、端末から通信可能範囲内にあるか調べるために検証スキャンを実行する。そして、検証スキャンの実行結果に基づいて、ハンドオーバーを行う。
