Abstract

 核内DNAの状態を捉えることを可能にする細胞特徴量算出装置を提供する。この細胞特徴量算出装置は、細胞の画像を入力する画像入力部と、上記細胞の細胞核領域を上記画像から抽出する細胞核領域抽出部と、上記細胞核領域の標準輪郭長を算出する標準輪郭長算出部と、相異なる複数の閾値の各々について、上記閾値以上の画素値を持つ領域である特定領域を上記細胞核領域から抽出し、当該特定領域の輪郭長を算出することにより、輪郭長系列を算出する輪郭長系列算出部と、上記標準輪郭長および上記輪郭長系列に基づいて、上記細胞の特徴量を算出する輪郭複雑度算出部と、を備えている。
