Abstract

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Wälzlagereinrichtung mit einem ersten Lagerring (1), einem zweiten Lagerring (2), Wälzkörpern (3), die in einem zwischen diesen beiden Lagerringen (1, 2) definiertem Bahnraum (B) aufgenommen sind, einer Käfigeinrichtung (4) zur Separierung der Wälzkörper (3), und einem Sensorsystem zur Generierung eines mit der Relativdrehung des Innenrings (2) gegenüber dem Außenring (7) in Bezug stehenden Sensorsignales, wobei sich diese Wälzlagereinrichtung dadurch auszeichnet, dass das Sensorsystem derart gestaltet ist, dass das genannte Sensorsignal auf Grundlage eines Wechselwirkungseffektes zwischen einem Signalabgriffsorgan und einer gemeinsam mit der Käfigeinrichtung umlaufenden Struktur erhoben wird. Dadurch wird es auf vorteilhafte Weise möglich, Wälzlagereinrichtungen mit integriertem Sensorsystem zu schaffen, deren Außenabmessungen im wesentlichen den Standardaußenabmessungen für derartige Wälzlagereinrichtungen entsprechen. In besonders vorteilhafter Weise wird es möglich, Standard-Wälzlager durch einfachen Austausch des Lagerdichtrings zu einem erfindungsgemäßen Wälzlager zu modifizieren.
