An electric motor is coupled to a speed reducer, in whose outlet axle is assembled the connecting rod where the bushed stopper of the crank is. The opposite end of the crank is bushed in a support fixed under the transversal cart (12).

Description

"MEDICAL EQUIPMENT FOR HIP MOVEMENT"
The present invention refers to an innovating medical equipment in the shape of a bed, destined to perform the movements of flexion / extension and hyper-extension (sagittal plane) of the hip, in accordance with a longitudinal axle, also leading to the movement of the stomach.
Modern life, with a high load of stress and extended day's work, has been driving most of the population away from a healthier posture. In this regard, human beings gradually have been reducing the practice of exercises, becoming increasingly sedentary. On the other hand, daily turmoil has not allowed people to avail themselves of the time required for the performance of peaceful meals. As a result of this, among other health problems, one finds an increase in spinal column diseases and disturbances of the digestive system.
Therefore, the present invention has the objective of being an innovating medical equipment allowing movements of the patient's hip and, consequently, his stomach. Due to its functionality, the equipment is capable of mitigating and, in some cases, even receding previously mentioned pathologies. This is achieved through a device assembled at the central part of a bed, which performs transversal alternate movements, making the patient's hip to dislocate from one side to the other. This movement is generated by an electric motor coupled to a reduction box in whose outlet axle a set of connecting rod / crank is assembled, which turns the rotating movement into an alternate one and transfers it to the central device. A transversal cart, which makes up the device, has bushings that slide in buses fixed on the girders of the bed. The set of connecting rod /crank can present an adjustment system for the alteration of the amplitude of the transversal movement applied to the patient's hip.
A pad lines the transversal cart and presents adjustable lateral supports for adaptation to the patient's hip size. The region of the bed feet presents a support and a belt for the retention of the patient's feet, while the headboard has a pillow. Both the feet support and the pillow present a forward and backward adjustment system for adaptation to the patient's height.
The medical equipment for hip movement proposed by the present invention presents the following technical effects: - it performs flexion / extension and hyper-extension movements of the hip, also moving the stomach;
- it has a system to adjust the transversal movement, which can be adapted to several treatment methods;
- the patient remains comfortably in the horizontal position and adequately positioned through lateral supports for the fastening of the hip and extreme supports for the retention of the feet and rest for the head, which causes him to practice passive workout.
The medical equipment for hip movement is recommended in the following treatments: - treatment of spinal column pathologies, especially scoliosis;
- treatment of gastroptosis;
- stimulate the digestive system, improving the performance of the stomach and the intestines (cramps, intestinal obstruction, rectal-abdominal musculature); - prevent gynecological disturbances;
- stimulate the musculature that supports the spinal column;
- improve motor coordination.
The medical equipment of the invention for the improvement of the hip can be better understood through the following detailed description, which is based on the attached drawings, listed below, which illustrate a preferred materialization that should not be considered restricted.
Figure 1 - lateral view of the equipment;
Figure 2 - frontal view of the equipment;
Figure 3 - rear view of the equipment; Figure 4 - upper view of the equipment; Figure 5 - lower view of the transversal device of the equipment; Figure 6 - lateral view detailing the system of activation of the device; Figure 7 - frontal view detailing the system of activation of the device.
Figures 1 through 4 illustrate the medical equipment proposed by the invention, which involves a device (1) assembled at the central part of a bed (2), which performs alternated transversal movements. The device
(1) consists of a support pad (11) for the patient's hip, fixed on the transversal cart (12), which slides in the girders (21) of the bed.
The pad (11) has lateral supports (13) adjustable for adequacy of the patient's hip. The region of the bed feet (2) presents a support
(22) with a belt (23) for the patient's feet retention and the headboard of the bed
(2) has a pillow (24). Both the support of the feet (22) and the pillow (24) present a forward and backward adjustment system for adaptation to the height of the patient, detailed further down. The transversal cart (12) obtains the alternated movement through a set of electric (3) activations commanded by a control panel (4).
Figures 5 through 7 detail the set of activation (3) of the transversal cart (12) under which the bushings (14) sliding of buses (25) are solidary with and fixed by their ends in the bed girders (21), an electric motor (31) is coupled to a speed reducer (32) in whose outlet axle is assembled the connecting rods (33). From a bushed stopper (34), at the connecting rod, a crank (35) is projected whose opposite end is pivoted in a support (36) fixed under the transversal cart (12).
Figures 5 through 7 detail the adjustment mechanism of the lateral supports (13) assembled on the cart (12) which involves a handle (15) of activation of a spindle (16), causing the dislocation of the arm (17), thus driving it away or bringing it closer, in accordance with the sense of rotation imposed by the operator. This same mechanism is employed for the adjustment of the feet support (22) and of the pillow (24) of the bed. Preferentially, the connecting rod (33) can have a spindle (37), triggered by a handle (38) for the driving away or approximation of the stopper (34) of the crank (35), allowing the adjustment of the amplitude of the alternated movement executed by the transversal cart (12).
