Abstract

 γ-グルタミルシステインシンセターゼ遺伝子を導入した形質転換植物は、野生型植物と比較して花の数および種子の数の少なくともいずれかが増加し、種子収量が向上する。これにより、植物由来のγ-グルタミルシステインシンセターゼ遺伝子産物の働きを解明し、種子収量の向上した植物を作出する技術を提供する。
