Abstract

 本発明の三次元細胞培養担体は、細胞を培養するための三次元空間を備えた繊維構造体を含んでいる。繊維構造体は、互いに絡まり合った複数の繊維によって形成されている。繊維構造体に用いられる繊維は、厚さ3mmに成形したときの可視光透過率が40%以上(好ましくは50%以上)である材料によって形成されている。このような繊維の一例として、例えばガラス繊維が挙げられる。また、この繊維のアスペクト比は1以上であり、繊維径は100μm以上700μm以下である。
