Abstract

 フィードバック制御の高速性を維持しつつ高精度に送信パワーを制御することができる送信装置及び送信パワー制御方法。ポーラ変調送信装置(100)に、PA(103)の出力パワーを波形整形するLPF(108)と、コンプレスドモード時のフィルタリング信号をサンプリングすると共に非コンプレスドモード時のフィルタリング信号をコンプレスドモード時のフィルタリング信号と同位相でサンプリングすることで、各モードの出力パワーデータを得るADC(109)とを設けた。こうしてモード切り替えの前後のサンプリング信号の位相を互いに同位相とするので、フィルタリング信号波形からモード切り替え前後で同条件のサンプリング信号を取得できる。このサンプリング信号に基づくフィードバック制御では、フィルタリング信号に変動成分が残留していてもその影響を無視できるため、高速性を維持しつつ高精度に送信パワーを推定及び制御できる。
