Abstract

　本発明の燃料電池（ＦＣ）は、エンドプレート（３０Ｌ、３０Ｒ）の開口部を貫通するように、積層体（ＳＴ）の積層方向に延びている４本の締結ロッド（３５）と、締結ロッド（３５）のそれぞれの両端に配置され、エンドプレートに挟持された積層体への、締結ロッドによる締結力を調整可能な締結部（３６）と、を備える。各締結ロッド（３５）がそれぞれ、エンドプレート（３０Ｌ、３０Ｒ）の各辺（Ｌ１、Ｌ２、Ｌ３、Ｌ４）の中点付近に配置され、エンドプレートの電極対向領域内には、２本の締結ロッド（３５）を通る第１直線（Ｈ１）上に、弾性部材（３７）が１以上配置され、２本の締結ロッド（３５）を通る第２直線（Ｈ２）上に、弾性部材（３７）が１以上配置され、２本の締結ロッド（３５）を通る第３直線（Ｈ３）上に、弾性部材（３７）が１以上配置され、２本の締結ロッド（３５）を通る第４直線（Ｈ４）上に、弾性部材（３７）が１以上配置されている。
