Abstract

 生体インプラントなどに使用されるのに好適な抗菌性を備える複合材料が開示されている。チタン系基材または非チタン系無機基材、該基材上に形成された結晶性アルカリチタネートの層、および前記アルカリチタネートのアルカリ成分が銀イオンで置換されている銀チタネート層を含む、チタネートでコーティングされたチタン系または非チタン系抗菌性部材。(i)基材をアルカリ水溶液中で110~180°Cの温度下に水熱処理に供し、(ii)前記水熱処理後の生成物を200~700°Cで加熱処理し、および(iii)前記加熱処理後の生成物を洗浄、乾燥した後、銀イオン含有水溶液に浸漬することにより製造される。
