Abstract
第1の無線基地局と端末間で無線通信が行われる時にハンドオーバにより前記第1の無線基地局に代わり第2の無線基地局と前記端末間で無線通信が行われる無線通信システムにおいて、前記第1の無線基地局は、前記第1の無線基地局に残留したデータを前記第2の無線基地局に転送する場合、前記端末から前記第1の無線基地局に送信された送信パケットの内、送達確認のとれていない未送達のパケットに対してダミーパケットを作成し、前記ダミーパケットを含むデータパケットを作成するデータパケット作成部と、作成された前記データパケットをハンドオーバ先の前記無線基地局に転送する転送部を備え、前記第2の無線基地局は、前記データパケットを受信するデータパケット受信部と、受信した前記データパケットから前記未送達のパケットの伝送要求を前記端末に要求し、前記未送達のパケットを前記端末から受信する未送達パケット受信部を備えることを特徴とする。
