  • the greatest diameter of the modelling part (12) is arranged to be smaller than about 8 mm, and the diameter of the modelling head (14) possibly detachably connected to it to be between 1-6- mm, such as its diameter to become smaller towards the tip of the modelling head (14) .

Instrument dentaire, avec pièce à main (10) et extrémité (11) qui s'y rattache. Une pièce de modelage (12) dépasse de l'extrémité (11) et est fixée de façon immobile ou libérable au bout de la seconde partie terminale (112) de l'extrémité, ou sensiblement à proximité de celle-ci, la pièce de modelage étant disposée pour le modelage de matériau d'amalgame dentaire et étant conçue pour être translucide ou pour comprendre une composante translucide. Un système de production de lumière (15) utilisé au moins pour durcir le matériau d'amalgame dentaire est disposé à l'extrémité (11) ou à la pièce de modelage (12) qui s'y rattache. Les dimensions et formes de l'extrémité (11), au moins sensiblement à proximité de la seconde partie terminale (112) de l'extrémité (11) ou les dimensions et formes de la seconde partie terminale (112) de l'extrémité (11) proprement dite sont disposées de manière à ce que, l'instrument étant observée en postion dans la bouche du patient pour une intervention sur l'une des prémolaires ou molaires, la seconde partie terminale (112) de l'extrémité (11) ou une partie de cette extrémité (11) qui se trouve sensiblement à proximité de l'extrémité (11) bloque seulement partiellement une vue de la prémolaire ou molaire en question.
