Abstract

Compact device for keeping animals away by means of ultrasounds, characterised because said device comprises: - An electronic unit for generating electric signals; - At least one electroacoustic transducer for conversion of the electric signals produced by said electronic generating unit into ultrasounds of appropriate frequency; - A supply source composed of a rechargable battery, for supplying power to the generating unit itself controlled by means of a detection signal generated by a motion detector unit which picks up animal movements in the proximity of the area of influence of the device and the electro-acoustic transducers; - A photovoltaic plate unit for supplying electric power to the rechargable battery supply source, which may be compactly integrated in the device.
