Abstract

L'invention concerne une fondation de bâtiment comprenant au moins un élément de fondation qui comporte un pieu en bois ancrable dans le sol de préférence par battage, ainsi qu'un capuchon de transfert de charge qui coiffe l'extrémité supérieure du pieu en bois, transmet les charges du bâtiment dans le pieu en bois et présente de préférence des moyens de connexion par complémentarité de forme pour le raccordement d'un élément de bâtiment à supporter. L'invention concerne en outre un procédé pour la production d'une telle fondation de bâtiment. Selon l'invention, le capuchon de transfert de charge est également utilisable comme protection contre la putréfaction et est, pour ce faire, réalisé de manière à empêcher un transfert d'humidité au niveau du pieu en bois. Ainsi, le capuchon de transfert de charge forme une gaine de protection de pieu au moins étanche aux fluides et, de préférence, également aux gaz, qui enveloppe le pieu en bois de l'extrémité supérieure de ce dernier jusqu'à une zone de transfert d'humidité vers le bas, et ce de manière étanche aux fluides. Le capuchon de transfert de charge maintient le pieu en bois uniformément humide ou uniformément sec selon la situation de montage. En cas d'utilisation en tant que fondation d'ouvrage hydraulique, la gaine de protection de pieu maintient le pieu en bois globalement humide jusqu'au-dessus du niveau de l'eau. Le pieu en bois présente avantageusement une structure de bois modifiée durablement, de préférence comprimée, dans sa zone entourée par la gaine de protection de pieu.
