技術分野
[0001] 本発明は、次世代の車載ネットワークの通信方式として標準化が進められているフ レックスレイ (FlexRay)のように固定領域と可変領域力 成る柔軟なセグメント構成を 特徴とする TDMA方式の通信に関するものであり、その送受信システム、ノード及び 通信方法に関するものである。
背景技術
[0002] 近年の自動車に対しては、エコロジ一'省スペース '安全性の観点からのニーズが あり、高速伝送'リアルタイム性'高信頼性の実現とともに、きめ細かな制御が求めら れている。
[0003] この要求に応えるため、自動車内の各モジュールは電子制御化が進められ、それ ぞれ複数の電子制御装置 (ECU)が搭載されている。また、これらの ECUはネットヮ ークを構成し、 ECU間通信にて各制御情報のやり取りが行なわれている。
[0004] この ECU間通信のために現在使用されている、例えばコントローラエリアネットヮー ク(CAN)など通信プロトコルでは、上記要求が益々求められる中、能力不足が課題 と考えられている。そのために、高信頼性を有し高度な制御に対応するものとして、 次世代通信方式であるフレックスレイが注目されて 、る。
[0005] 以下において、固定領域と可変領域から成る柔軟なセグメント構成を特徴とする T DMA方式の 1つである、フレックスレイを例に説明するが、これに限定するものでは ない。
フレックスレイはタイムトリガー方式(別の言い方では TDMA方式)の通信であり、 一定時間 (通信サイクル)内をスロットに分割し、そのスロットに決められたノードがフレ ームを送信する。したがって、予め決められたスケジュールによりデータを確実に転 送することが可能であるから、事象の発生に合わせてノードが通信要求を出すィベン トトリガー方式 (例えば CAN)などに比べデータ通信のリアルタイム性を高めており、 また 2本の通信路を用いることにより信頼性を高めて 、る。 [0006] 図 1は、フレックスレイを採用した複数のノード力もなるクラスタのネットワーク構成例 を示す図である。図 1の例示では、チャネル A用のバス (21)とチャネル B用のバス (22) により ECU#1(11)、 ECU#2(12)、 ECU#3(13)、 ECU#4(14)、 · · ·、 ECU#n(ln)が相互 に接続されている。

フレックスレイの通信スケジュールは、図示のように 6ビットで 0〜63までを繰り返し カウントする通信サイクルと、その 1つの通信サイクル内の時分割多重アクセス (TD MA)を管理するセグメント、及びスロットで構成される。セグメントは、スタティックセグ メントとダイナミックセグメントに分割されている。

[0009] 図 2に示す例では、スロット IDが 2のスタティックスロットは、 ECU#2に割り当てられ、 データの送信されないアイドル部、 ECU#2用のスタティックフレーム、アイドル部から 構成されている。スロット IDが 51のダイナミックスロットは、 ECU#nに割り当てられ、ァ イドル部、 ECUfti用のダイナミックフレーム、アイドル部の構成となっている。また、通 信サイクルの最後には、特別な記号を送信するための固定長のタイムスロットである シンボルウィンドウ SWと、各通信サイクルの最後に設けられた無通信の期間であり、 各ノードの通信コントローラがこの期間にいくつかの演算処理を行うネットワークアイド ノレタイム NITに害 ijり当てられて!/ヽる。

[0012] 先に述べたように、スタティックセグメントの各スロットのサイズは固定長であり、マク ロティック(MT)というクラスタ内で同一の長さ(時間)を有する単位で 4〜659MTの 範囲の値をとる。そのスロット内でのフレームの送受信は各通信サイクルで毎回保証 される。
[0013] 図 4はダイナミックセグメントの送信処理を説明する図である。ダイナミックセグメント は、スロットより小さく最小単位である時間領域を占めるミニスロットから構成される可 変長スロットの転送領域を持っている。したがって、ダイナミックセグメントでは可変長 フレームの送受信が可能である。ミニスロットの長さは 2〜63MTの範囲であり、その 数は 0〜7986の範囲である。

ダイナミックセグメントに関して、順次フレームを転送した後にフレーム転送が可能 である最後に至つたかを判別するための pLatestTxというパラメータが用いられる。こ のパラメータは 0〜7981ミニスロットの範囲の値をとることができる力 最大長のダイ ナミックフレームを最後に送信できるように決定する必要がある。ダイナミックフレーム の最大長は、ヘッダ、ペイロード、トレイラの長さの和であり、 262バイトである。

発明を実施するための最良の形態
[0030] 本発明を実施するための形態は、様々な観点から見たそれぞれの実施形態が存 在する。
最初に本発明の制御フィールドをどのように構成するかについての実施形態につ いて説明し、次に制御フィールドに設定された制御情報に基づいてどのように優先 判定を行うかという形態について、実施例 1〜3として説明する。また、ハードウェア構 成についても説明する。

要求情報の送信方法としては、図示のようにダイナミックスロットに対応したビット位 置による方法のほかダイナミックスロットの IDを指定する方法が考えられる。しかし、フ レックスレイにおいては、 1つのノードが複数のダイナミックスロットに対してフレームを 送信可能である。したがって、優先使用の要求情報の送信方法を決めるには、 1つ のノードが複数のダイナミックスロットに対し送信要求を行なう場合を考慮する必要が ある。すると、図 6及び図 7に示したように、制御フィールド内の情報として、優先使用 要求されうる全ダイナミックスロットごとに優先使用要求情報淛御ビット)を設ける手法 力 同時に複数のダイナミックスロットの優先使用要求情報を送信する場合に有効で ある。

[19] 前記制御フィールド内の制御情報は当該ダイナミックスロットで送信するデータのサ ィズ情報を含むことを特徴とする請求項 16又は 17に記載の通信方法。
[20] 同一通信サイクル内の全てのノードの前記送信可能なダイナミックスロットを一定時 間間隔ごとに複数のグループに分け、該グループごとに、該グループに属するダイ ナミックスロットに対する前記制御情報に基づ 、て同一通信サイクルある 、は次の通 信サイクルで実際に送信可能なダイナミックスロットを判定することを特徴とする請求 項 16又は 17に記載の通信方法。
