Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft eine elektrochrome Anordnung, die einen mit Lithium neutralisierten, aus wässriger Lösung applizierbaren, anionischen Polyelektrolyten enthält.
Description
Elektrochrome Anordnung
Die Erfindung betrifft eine elektrochrome Anordnung, die einen mit Lithium neutralisierten, aus wässriger Lösung applizierbaren, anionischen Polyelektrolyten enthält, im Gegensatz zu bekannten elektrochromen Anordnungen auf Basis von Polymerelektrolyten, die aus einer Polymermatrix, einem Lithiumleitsalz und gegebenenfalls einem aprotischen Solvens bestehen.
Die EP 942 061 Al beschreibt vergleichbare elektrochrome Anordnungen. Als Polymerelektrolyt wird die Mischung von Lithiumleitsalzen und vorzugsweise vernetzten Polymeren und aprotischen Lösungsmitteln genannt. Es wird hierin darauf hingewiesen, dass bei Verwendung von Kunststoffsubstraten eine Sperrschicht gegen Wasser wünschenswert ist, um einen sicheren Betrieb zu gewährleisten. Nachteil ist die Mehrstufigkeit der Applikation und die Gegenwart der Gegenionen (Chlorat, Triflat etc.), die in bestimmten Anwendungen unerwünscht ist.
Die WO 00/08523 Al beschreibt elektrochrome Anordnungen, bei denen die Elektrolytschicht als Haftschicht genutzt wird. Aber auch dieser Polymerelektrolyt, bestehend aus Lithiumleitsalz, aprotischem Solvens und einer vernetzten Polymermatrix, kann nicht aus wässriger Lösung angewendet werden.
Es besteht Bedarf an einem vereinfachten Verfahren zur Herstellung der elektrochromen Anordnungen. Ferner sind die Lithiumleitsalze für die bekannten elektrochromen Anordnungen technisch schwer verfügbar und wegen ihrer Gegenionen (Chlorat, Hexafluorophosphat, Triflat) ökologisch nicht unbedenklich.
Aus Wasser applizierbare Komponenten sind aus Gründen der Arbeitshygiene wünschenswert, was bei den bisherigen elektrochromen Anordnungen unmöglich ist. Es bestand daher die Aufgabe, einen aus Wasser applizierbaren Elektrolyten zu finden, der eine stabile elektrochrome Anordnung ergibt und der ohne separate Lithiumleitsalze auskommt.
Überraschenderweise wurde gefunden, dass nicht vernetzte Polyelektrolyten, bestehend aus nichtfunktionellen, oligoetherhaltigen und anionischen Wiederholungseinheiten, aus Wasser applizierbar sind und dabei die Herstellung stabiler elektrochromer Anordnungen ermöglichen.
Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine elektrochrome Mehrschichtenanordnung wenigstens aufweisend ein transparentes Decksubstrat, eine erste Elektrodenanordnung, eine daran angrenzende Schicht mit elektrochromem Material, eine daran angrenzende Gelelektrolytschicht, eine an die
Gelelektrolytschicht angrenzende Ionenspeicherschicht, eine an diese Schicht angrenzende zweite
Elektrodenanordnung und ein weiteres Substrat, das transparent und/oder mit einer Spiegelfläche versehen ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Gelelektrolytschicht ein oder mehrere Copolymere auf Basis von Vinylmonomeren enthält, mit folgenden Wiederholungseinheiten:
A) von 10 - 80 Gew.-% einer nicht funktionellen Wiederholungseinheit ausgewählt aus der Reihe:
R > 3ό Ci bis Ci8-Alkyl oder C1 bis C4-Hydroxyalkyl,
R6 Wasserstoff oder Ci bis C16-Alkyl,
R7 Wasserstoff oder Ci bis C4-Alkyl,
R8 C, bis Cig-Alkyl,
R" C1 bis C4-Alkyl bedeuten,
insbesondere solchen der Formel (I), besonders bevorzugt mit R = Wasserstoff, und
B) 15 - 80 Gew.-% einer oligoetherhaltigen Wiederholungseinheit (VIII):

Bevorzugt wird die Elektrodenanordnung und die elektrochrome Schicht durch ein einziges Material gebildet.
Bevorzugt ist auch eine neue elektrochrome Anordnung, die dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass die Elektrodenanordnungen unabhängig voneinander aus optisch transparentem Elektrodenmaterial bestehen, insbesondere aus Indiumzinnoxid (ITO) oder transparenten, elektrisch leitenden Polymeren.
Das Elektrodenmaterial der Elektrodenanordnungen basiert besonders bevorzugt auf transparenten, elektrisch leitenden Polymeren, ausgewählt aus der Reihe Polyanilin, Polythiophen und Polypyrrol, insbesondere Polythiophen, besonders bevorzugt auf Polyethylendioxythiophen.
Als nichtfunktionelle Wiederholungseinheit A) wird bevorzugt eine der Formel (I) eingesetzt:
worin R1 Wasserstoff bedeutet.
Als Wiederholungseinheit C) wird bevorzugt eine der Formel (X) eingesetzt:
worin R14 Wasserstoff bedeutet.
Die Molmasse Mn der Polyelektrolyten beträgt bevorzugt 500-500000 g/Mol (Zahlenmittel), vorzugsweise 1000 bis 10 000 g/Mol. Die Polyelektrolytschicht kann bis zu 1 Gew.-% Wasser enthalten. Die Polyelektrolytschicht hat insbesondere eine Schichtdicke von 5 - 200 μm, besonders bevorzugt von 10 - 100 μm.
Die Herstellung der Polyelektrolyten kann z. B. erfolgen, indem man Maleinsäureanhydrid mit Styrol oder anderen Olefinen oder Vinylethem oder Vinylestern im Molverhältnis 1 :1 - 1 :4 in einem mit Wasser in jedem Verhältnis mischbaren, vorzugsweise aprotischen Lösungsmittel, das ganz besonders bevorzugt einen Siedepunkt unter 1000C hat, wie Aceton oder Tetrahydrofuran (THF), copolymerisiert oder das separat hergestellte Maleinsäureanhydridcopolymer in einem solchen Lösungsmittel löst, dann eine zur Maleinsäureanhydridmenge äquimolaren Menge eines mono-OH-funktionellen Polyalkylenoxids, vorzugsweise Polyethylenoxids zugibt, die bei der Halbesterbildung entstehende Carboxylgruppe mit Lithiumhydroxid insbesondere zu mindest zu 50%, vorzugsweise zu 80 bis 100%, neutralisiert, dann Wasser zugibt und das Lösungsmittel, falls dessen Siedepunkt unter 1000C liegt, abdestilliert.
Vorzugsweise werden Maleinsäureanhydrid-Styrol-Copolymere, gelöst in Aceton oder Tetrahydrofuran (THF) in diese Reaktion eingesetzt. Die Halbesterbildung erfolgt bevorzugt bei 20-1000C.
Die Herstellung der neuen Polyelektrolyten kann auch erfolgen, indem man als Baustein A) (Meth)acrylsäurealkylester, Styrol, (Meth)acrylnitril oder (Meth)acrylamide, als Baustein C) Acrylsäure, Methacrylsäure, Acrylamido-methyl-propansulfonsäure oder (Meth)acrylsäure- sulfoethylester oder deren Lithiumsalze, und als Baustein B) Polyethylen- oxidmonornethylether(meth)acrylate mit Molmassen von 200 bis 1000 g/Mol, in einem in jedem Verhältnis mit Wasser mischbaren Lösungsmittel, das auch protisch sein kann, und vorzugsweise einen Siedepunkt unter 1000C hat, wie Methanol, Ethanol, Isopropanol, Aceton oder Tetrahydrofuran (THF), polymerisiert, mit Wasser und, falls zur Neutralisierung der sauren Bausteine C) notwendig, mit Lithiumhydroxid versetzt und das Lösungsmittel, falls dessen Siedepunkt unter 1000C liegt, abdestilliert. Als Initiatoren für die Polymerisation werden Azoverbindungen oder Peroxide eingesetzt. Die Polymerisation erfolgt bevorzugt bei einer Temperatur von 50 bis 1500C.
Bevorzugt einzusetzende Verbindungen für die Ionenspeicherschicht sind alle grundsätzlich geeigneten Ionenspeicherverbindungen, insbesondere solche aus der Gruppe der Formeln (XTH) bis (XVm) enthält

Me2 2O5 (XIV),
LixMe1O2 (XV),
LixMe2 205 (XVI),
LixMe1CW (XVII),

worin
Me1 und Me2 für ein Metall der HI, FV und V Nebengruppe des Periodensystems der Elemente steht,
x für eine Zahl von 0,001 bis 5 steht.
Me' steht vorzugsweise für Zirkonium, Cer oder Titan.
Me2 steht bevorzugt für Niob.
Ganz besonders bevorzugt werden folgende Verbindungen für die Ionenspeicherschichten eingesetzt: CeO2, LixCeO2, LixCeO2+x/2, insbesondere CeO2.
Der Ionenspeicher kann auch eine Mischung von mindestens zwei der Verbindungen Formeln (Xiπ) bis (XVm) sein, wobei
Me2 in der Mischung vorzugsweise für Vanadium oder Niob steht.
Ganz besonders bevorzugt werden folgende Verbindungen für Ionenspeicherschichten eingesetzt:
V2O5 , Lix V2O5 , Lix V2O5+x/2 , CeO2 , Lix CeO2 , Lix CeO2+x/2 , Nb2O5 , Lix Nb2O5 , Lix Nb2O5+x/2 , TiO2 - CeO2 , CeO2 - V2O5 , TiO2 - V2O5 , LixCeO2 - LixV2O5 , LixTiO2 - LixV2O5
Der Ionenspeicher in der neuen elektrochromen Anordnung besteht somit aus einer Metalloxid- Verbindung oder einer Mischung aus Metalloxiden. Die Ionenspeicherschichten können bereits bei ihrer Erzeugung ein Li-SaIz beinhalten oder auch erst nachträglich elektrochemisch mit Li-Ionen beladen werden.
Die Verbindungen der Formeln (XÜI) bis (XVIII) sind allgemein bekannte Verbindungen und lassen sich nach allgemein bekannten Methoden der anorganischen Chemie herstellen (vgl. z.b. Hollemann- Wiberg, Lehrbuch der organischen Chemie, 71. - 80. Auflage, Walter de Gruyter 6 Co., Berlin 1971 , Seiten 779-781 , Römpp Chemie Lexikon; Chemical Abstract 1313-96-8).
Die erfϊndungsgemäße elektrochrome Anordnung enthält also mindestens eine anorganische Ionenspeicherschicht .
Diese kann entweder durch ein Sol-Gel-Verfahren oder durch Aufdampfen/Aufsputtem auf ein elektrisch leitfähiges Substrat aufgebracht werden, das zur Verbesserung der Leitfähigkeit mit einem Metallgitter versehen sein kann. Dabei kann es sich auch um Nano-Teilchen handeln, die mittels einer Gießtechnik aufgebracht werden können.
Als elektrochromes Material im Sinne der Erfindung können folgende Stoffe einzeln eingesetzt werden: WO3, MoO3, Polyaniline, Polypyrrole oder in einer bevorzugten Ausfuhrungsform Polythiophene, wobei die Polypyrrole und Polythiophene bevorzugt in 3,4-Stellung durch Alkylgruppen oder Alkoxygruppen substitutiert sind und die Substituenten Glieder eines 6 oder 7 oder 8 gliedrigen, an den Heterocyclen annelierten Ringes sein können, wobei dieser Ring zwei Sauerstoffatome, die bevorzugt am Heterocyclen sich befinden, enthalten kann.
Besonders bevorzugte elektrochrome Materialien sind Polydioxythiophene. Die Polydioxythiophene sind vorzugsweise kationisch geladen und aus Struktureinheiten der Formel (XDC) aufgebaut,

und enthalten vorzugsweise Polyanionen als Gegenionen.

Ganz besonders bevorzugt enthält die erfindungsgemäße elektrochrome Anordnung mindestens ein elektrisch leitfähiges, elektrochromes, kationisches oder neutrales Polydioxythiophen der Formeln (XXII) und/oder XXΗI), worin B3 die oben genannte Bedeutung hat, und p für eine ganze Zahl von 2 bis 10 000, vorzugsweise 5 bis 5 000 steht.
Als Polyanionen dienen insbesondere die Anionen von polymeren Carbonsäuren, wie Polyacrylsäuren, Polymethacrylsäuren, oder Polymaleinsäuren und polymeren Sulfonsäuren, wie Polystyrolsulfonsäuren und Polyvinylsulfonsäuren. Diese Polycarbon- und -sulfonsäuren können auch Copolymere von Vinylcarbon- und Vinylsulfonsäuren mit anderen polymerisierbaren Monomeren, wie Acrylsäureestem und Styrol sein. Besonders bevorzugt ist das Anion der Polystyrolsulfonsäure als Gegenion. Das Molekulargewicht der die Polyanionen liefernden Polysäuren beträgt vorzugsweise 1000 bis 2 000 000, besonders bevorzugt 2000 bis 500 000. Die
Polysäuren oder ihre Alkalisalze sind im Handel erhältlich, z.B. Polystyrolsulfonsäuren und Polyacrylsäuren, oder aber nach bekannten Verfahren herstellbar (siehe z.B. Houben Weyl, Methoden der organischen Chemie, Bd. E 20 Makromolekulare Stoffe, Teil 2, (1987), S. 1141 ff.). Anstelle der für die Bildung der Dispersionen aus Polydioxythiophenen und Polyanionen erforderlichen freien Polysäuren, kann man auch Gemische aus Alkalisalzen der Polysäuren und entsprechenden Mengen an Monosäuren einsetzen.
Eine besonders bevorzugte Variante der elektrochromen Anordnung besteht darin, dass die Elektrodenanordnung und die daran angrenzende Schicht mit elektrochromem Material zusammen durch eine Kombination von Polyethylendioxythiophen und Polystyrolsulfonsäure gebildet werden.
Im Falle der Formel (XXffl) tragen die Polydioxythiophene positive und negative Ladung in der Struktureinheit. Die Herstellung der Polydioxythiophene ist beispielsweise in EP-A 0 440 957 (=US-A 300 575) grundsätzlich beschrieben.
Die Polydioxythiophene werden durch oxidative Polymerisation erhalten. Dadurch erhalten sie positive Ladungen, die in den Formeln nicht dargestellt sind, da ihre Zahl und ihre Position nicht einwandfrei exakt feststellbar sind.
Auch die entsprechenden Polypyrrole können eingesetzt werden, bei denen S durch NH ersetzt ist. Als Brücke zwischen den beiden Sauerstoffsubstituenten in 3,4-Stellung können auch der Neopentylrest oder der Butylenrest eingesetzt werden. Diese Reste können auch die Sauerstoffatome der 3,4-substituierten Polythiophene überbrücken.
Als Material für die Substrate können insbesondere Gläser oder transparente Kunststoffe, wie Polycarbonat, Polyethylenterephthalat oder PMMA, eingesetzt werden.
Die Kontaktierung der redoxaktiven Substanz und des Lithiumionenleiter kann durch eine zwischen Substrat und funktioneller Schicht befindliche, leitfähige, transparente Schicht erfolgen, wie ITO, SnO2, SnO fluordotiert, transparentes leitfähiges Polymer, insbesondere PEDOT/PSS, aufgedampftes Silber oder Metallnetze. Es kann, aber auch eine funktionelle Schicht, z.B. die redoxaktive Substanz Polyethylendioxythiophen, auch die Funktion der leitfähigen, transparenten Schicht mit übernehmen.
Das Zusammenfügen der Seite mit der redoxaktiven Substanz und der Seite mit dem Lithiumionenspeicher erfolgt beispielsweise, indem man eine oder beide Seiten auf der funktionellen Schicht mit der wasserhaltigen Lösung des Polyelektrolyten durch Sprühen, Rakeln,
Streichen oder Tauchen beschichtet und dann, ggf. nach Ablüften, die beiden Seiten mit der
funktionellen Schicht in Richtung des in der Mitte befindlichen Polymerelektrolyten zusammenfügt, so dass eine elektrochrome Anordnung Substrat-(leitfähige, transparente Schicht)- redoxaktive Substanz-Polyelektrolyt-Lithiumionenspeicher-(leitfähige, transparente Schicht- Substrat resultiert, wobei die in Klammern gesetzten Bestandteile optional sind.
Der Folienverbund wird vorzugsweise durch Laminieren bei Temperaturen von 70 bis 1700C verbessert. Auch Lufteinschlüsse können auf diese Weise vermieden werden.
Die Schicht aus PEDOT/PSS (Polyethylendioxythiophen/Polystyrolsulfonsäure) kann als Verarbeitungshilfen Lösungsmittel, wasserlöslichen Polymere oder nichtionische oder anionische Emulgatoren enthalten, wie Dimethylsulfoxid (DMSO), N-Methylpyrrolidon (NMP), Dimethylacetamid, Dimethylformamid, Polyvinylalkohole (ganz oder teilweise verseiftes Polyvinylacetat oder Poly-ethylen-co-vinylacetat), Polyester der Sulfoisophthalsäure, Ethoxylierungsprodukte von Acetylenbiscarbinolen, Fettalkoholen, Fettaminen, Fettamiden oder Alkylphenolen, C 12-Cl 8 -Fettsäureester von Sorbitan oder ethoxyliertem Sorbitan, Polyethylenoxid-Silicon-Block oder Pfropfcopolymere oder sulfonierten oder sulfatierten Alkylaromaten oder Fettalkoholen.
Die Polyelektrolytschicht kann als Verarbeitungshilfen Lösungsmittel oder nichionische oder anionische Emulgatoren enthalten, wie DMSO, NMP, Dimethylacetamid, Dimethylformamid, Ethoxylierungsprodukte von Acetylenbiscarbinolen, Fettalkoholen, Fettaminen, Fettamiden oder Alkylphenolen, C12-C18-Fettsäureester von Sorbitan oder ethoxyliertem Sorbitan, Polyethylenoxid-Silicon-Block oder Pfropfcopolymere oder sulfonierten oder sulfatierten Alkylaromaten oder Fettalkoholen.
Die Kontaktierung erfolgt in der Regel an den beiden leitfähigen Schichten, wobei eine Gleichspannung von 0,5 - 20 V, vorzugsweise von 2 - 7 V angelegt wird.
Die erfindungsgemäßen elektrochromen Anordnungen können eingesetzt werden in Fahrzeugverglasungen, Gebäudeverglasungen, Anzeigeelementen (Displays, z. B. für Mobiltelefone), optischen Systemen (z.B. Lichtschalter in Kameras), schaltbaren Spiegeln (z. B. Rückspiegel von Fahrzeugen).

Beispiel 1
Herstellung eines Polyelektrolyten:
Man legt 234 g eines Cumyl-terminierten Maleinsäureanhydrid-Styrol-Copolymeren mit einer Molmasse von Mn = 1900 und einem Styrolgehalt von 75 % in 500 g Aceton vor, tropft bei 20 0C die Mischung aus 273g Polyethylenglykolmonomethylether mit einer Molmasse Mn = 550, 0,1g Methylen-bis-tert-butylmethylphenol als Antioxidans, 12g Lithiumhydroxid und 100g Aceton innerhalb von 1 h hinzu. Nach 16 h werden 500 g Wasser zugegeben und das Aceton bei 80 0C abdestilliert. Man erhält die wässrige Lösung des Polyelektrolyten.
Beispiel 2
Herstellung eines Polyelektrolyten:
Man legt 1000 g Aceton, 233 g eines Cumyl-terminierten Maleinsäureanhydrid-Copolymeren mit einer Molmasse von Mn = 1600 und einem Styrolgehalt von 57 % und 550 g Polyethylenglykolmonomethylether mit einer Molmasse Mn = 550 vor, gibt 18 g Lithiumhydroxid hinzu und lässt 36 h rühren. Dann werden 800 g Wasser hinzugefügt und das Aceton bei 80 0C abdstilliert. Man erhält die wässrige Lösung des Polyelektrolyten.
Beispiel 3
Herstellung eines Polyelektrolyten: Man tropft in 2 h die Mischung aus 20 g Acrylamidomethylpropansulfonsäure, 50 g Methylacrylat, 50 g Hydroxyethylmethacrylat, 80 g Polyethylengylcolmonomethylether-methacrylat mit einer Molmasse Mn = 475, 2 g Thioglykolsäure als Regler, 1 g Azobisisobutyronitril als Initiator, 18 g Wasser und 200 g Methanol in einen auf 80 °C geheizten Kolben und rührt 16 h bei 80 0C. Dann werden 2 g Lithiumhydroxid und 200 ml Wasser zugegen und das Methanol bei 80 0C abdestilliert. Man erhält die wässrige Lösung des Polyelektrolyten.
Beispiel 4
Herstellung eines Substrates mit Lithiumionenspeicherschicht: Auf eine Polycarbonatfolie wird zunächst eine Schicht Indium Zinnoxid (ITO) und dann eine Schicht Cerdioxid im Hochvakuum aufgedampft, (bildet die Lithiumionenspeicherschicht).
Beispiel 5
Herstellung eines Substrates mit Polyethylendioxythiophen als redoxaktiver Substanz:
Man mischt 72,4g Baytron® PAG (wässrige Dispersion des leitfähigen Polymers PEDT/PSS, (Polyethylendioxythiophen/Polystyrolsulfonat, Hersteller H.C. Starck GmbH), 4,3g DMSO, 10,8g einer 10 prozentigen Lösung von Polyvinylalkohol und 0,2g Surfynol 104 E (Air Products). Man trägt einen 12μ dicken Film auf die elektrisch leitfähige Seite einer mit ITO bedampften Polycarbonatfolie (Makrofol, Hersteller Bayer MaterialScience AG) , und trocknet Ih bei 200C und 3 min. bei 1300C.
Man erhält einen durchsichtigen, nur ganz leicht bläulich gefärbten Polymerfilm.
Beispiel 6
Herstellung einer elektrochromen Anordnung:
Auf die Ionenspeicherschicht des Substrates nach Beispiel 4) wird eine 24μ dicke Schicht einer
Mischung aus 36 Teilen Polyelektrolyten nach Beispiel 1), 2,15 Teilen DMSO und 0,1 Teil Surfynol 104 E (ethoxyliertes Bis(methylisobutylcarbinol)acetylen, Hersteller Air Products) aufgetragen, 1 h bei 20 0C abgelüftet und 3 min. bei 900C getrocknet. Man fügt die so mit Polyelektrolyt versehene Folie und das Substrat mit redoxaktiver Substanz nach Beispiel 5) so zusammen, dass der Polyelektrolyt und das Baytron® aufeinander liegen. Dann wird bei 1500C laminiert.
Beispiel 7
Herstellung einer elektrochromen Anordnung:
Man verfährt wie in Beispiel 6), wobei als Polyelektrolyt das Produkt aus Beispiel 2) eingesetzt wird.
Der Test der Anordnungen 6 und 7 erfolgt durch Anlegen einer Spannung von 5 V und Umpolung. Die Umpolung wird 30 mal wiederholt:

Claims
Elektrochrome Mehrschichtenanordnung wenigstens aufweisend ein transparentes Decksubstrat (1), eine erste Elektrodenanordnung (2), eine daran angrenzende Schicht (3) mit elektrochromem Material, eine daran angrenzende Gelelektrolytschicht (4), eine an Schicht (4) angrenzende Ionenspeicherschicht (5), eine an Schicht (5) angrenzende zweite Elektrodenanordnung (6), und ein weiteres Substrat (7), das transparent und/oder mit einer Spiegelfläche versehen ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Gelelektrolytschicht ein oder mehrere Copolymere auf Basis von Vinylmonomeren enthält mit folgenden Wiederholungseinheiten:
A) von 10 - 80 Gew.-% einer nicht funktionellen Wiederholungseinheit ausgewählt aus der Reihe:
R3 Ci bis C18-Alkyl oder C1 bis C4-Hydroxyalkyl,
R6 Wasserstoff oder C, bis C,6-Alkyl, R7 Wasserstoff oder C1 bis C4-Alkyl, ggf. verzweigt,

oder
A) von 10 - 50 Gew.-% einer nichtfünktionellen Wiederholungseinheit A) mit den oben angegebenen Bedeutungen für R1 bis R9
und
D) 50 - 90 Gew.-% einer oligoetherhaltigen vollständig oder teilweise, insbesondere mindestens zu 50 % mit Lithium neutralisierten Wiederholungseinheit der Formel (XU): wobei
R16 für Wasserstoff oder Methyl, insbesondere Wasserstoff,
R17 für einen Ci-C4-Alkylrest bevorzugt für Methyl steht,
und worin m für eine natürliche Zahl von 5 bis 30 steht.
2. Anordnung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Elektrodenanordnung (2) und die elektrochrome Schicht (3) durch ein einziges Material gebildet werden.
3. Anordnung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Elektrodenanordnungen (2) und (6) unabhängig voneinander aus optisch transparentem
Elektrodenmaterial bestehen, insbesondere aus Indiumzinnoxid oder transparenten, elektrisch leitenden Polymeren.
4. Anordnung nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Elektrodenmaterial der Elektrodenanordnung (2) und/oder der Elektrodenanordnung (6) auf transparenten, elektrisch leitenden Polymeren, ausgewählt aus der Reihe Polyanilin, Polythiophen und
Polypyrrol, insbesondere Polythiophen, basiert, besonders bevorzugt auf Polyethylendioxythiophen.
5. Anordnung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass als nichtfunktionelle Wiederholungseinheit A) solche der Formel (I) dienen:
6. Anordnung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass als Wiederholdungseinheit C) solche der Formel (X) dienen:
7. Anordnung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Elektrodenanordnung (2) und die Schicht (3) zusammen durch eine Schicht aus einer
Kombination von Polyethylendioxythiophen und Polystyrolsulfonsäure gebildet werden.
8. Verwendung der Anordnung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7 in Fahrzeugverglasungen, Gebäudeverglasungen, Anzeigeelementen, insbesondere Displays für Mobiltelefone, optischen Systemen, insbesondere Lichtschalter in Kameras, schaltbaren Spiegeln, insbesondere Rückspiegel von Fahrzeugen.
