Abstract
The invention relates to a self-contained system for using water employed in dwellings. The invention is formed by a tank that collects water from the siphon trap which, unlike other traps, includes a filter for solid waste and does not discharge water into the drain of the dwelling, but instead into the aforementioned tank. The tank contains a purification kit consisting of an assembly comprising a drive pump with an upstream second mesh filter and a sand filter immediately downstream thereof. The pump drives the purified water (i) into an upper tank in the same bathroom, wherefrom the water falls under its own weight until it has filled the toilet cistern, and (ii) to a non-potable water tap for cleaning.
Description
APROVECHAMIENTO AUTÓNOMO DE AGUAS USADAS EN VIVIENDAS AUTONOMOUS USE OF WATERS USED IN HOUSING
The present invention relates to a system for recycling domestic wastewater by which the water from the shower or bathtub, the washbasin and the bidet of a single dwelling is collected and used for filling the tank and consequent cleaning of the toilet as well as for cleaning the house. It falls within the field of sanitary and plumbing installations present in bathrooms and toilets of homes located in blocks of flats, including both the system of evacuation of domestic wastewater, as all those elements such as the siphonic boat and pipes The drain of the bathroom allows the installation of a pressure pump, a filter and a tank to be recycled once the water coming from the drain of the bathtub or the sink or the bidet for use as a discharge from the tank of the toilet. Various facilities similar to that of the invention are known, basically those consisting of a deposit in the basement of a residential building that collects water from bathtubs, showers and sinks throughout the building to pump them to a tank on the roof of the building from where they are led to the cisterns of its toilets. They produce the same effect: a saving in water consumption since in both cases the toilet tanks work with wastewater. Other facilities and devices control in a complex way (even electronically) the flow of a single pump located shortly before the siphon canister, and from there it is taken to the toilet cistern so that according to each of the provisions of the same there is a distinct flow; Although the versatility of these systems in terms of the number of different flows is greater than that of the invention, their cost and development as well as the complexity mean that they are not usually used in practice.
Other variations are those that take advantage of the water coming from the washing machine and the pump itself to drive water to the tank.
The installation and the mechanism of the invention has the same functionality with certain structural characteristics different from the aforementioned installations and mechanisms, and with the particularity of simplicity in terms of the set of parts and their assembly.
It also constitutes a set that is independent of itself, that is, adaptable to already existing bathrooms with hardly any modifications. In addition, most of the pieces can be made of plastic materials, with the good degree of maintenance and conservation that suppose the same in this type of sets against the metallic materials.
One of the most significant advantages of the present invention over the known ones is that in this one the purification is autonomous, being carried out on the waters of the individual housing, these waters being the only ones that are used for the second time or recycled. This advantage contrasts with the inconvenience of using water in a house that, despite being relatively purified, comes from the home of another. The present invention is constituted from a water tank located under the bathtub of the bathroom of a single-family dwelling that collects the water coming from the siphonic boat, which is the collector where the waters of the bath or shower, of the washbasin and of the bidet. Said siphonic boat, unlike the others, presents a filter for solid waste, such as small objects, papers, hair. Also unlike the other siphonic boats, the water from it does not go directly to the drain of the house, but to the aforementioned reservoir under the bathtub. In this tank is a purification kit consisting of an assembly consisting of a booster pump preceded by a second mesh filter and immediately followed by a sand filter that can also be activated carbon. The pump is automatically activated by means of sensors driving the already purified water to an upper tank in the same bathroom and from there it falls through its own weight until filling the toilet cistern on the one hand and a tap of non-potable water for cleaning.
The cistern consists of two water inlets, a priority that is recycled water and a second one in the case where there is a lack of recycled water, in which case water enters the network.
The mechanism of connection between both deposits and the operation of the set, as well as an extension of details will be better reflected through the drawings.
For a better understanding of what is described herein, some drawings are attached in which, by way of example, a practical case of the realization of the mechanism mechanism and its operation is represented.
