Abstract

Es wird ein Verfahren zum Verflüssigen eines kohlenwasserstoffreichen Stromes, insbesondere eines Erdgas-Stromes, durch indirekten Wärmetausch mit dem Kältemittelgemisch eines Kältemittelgemischkreislaufes, wobei das Kältemittelgemisch zwei- oder mehrstufig verdichtet wird, in wenigstens eine tiefersiedende und wenigstens eine höhersiedende Kältemittelgemischfraktion aufgetrennt wird und die Kältemittelgemischfraktionen auf unterschiedlichen Temperaturniveaus gegen den abzukühlenden und zu verflüssigenden Kohlenwasserstoffreichen Strom verdampft und anschließend vor ihrer erneuten Verdichtung vereinigt werden, beschrieben. Die Kältemittelgemischfraktionen werden während Normalbetrieb nicht vollständig verdampft, und vorzugsweise auch nicht überhitzt. Hierbei werden vorzugsweise wenigstens 1 bis 10 Gew. % der Gesamtmenge des Kältemittelgemisches nicht verdampft.
