Definitions
- the present invention relates to a jelly used for swallowing endoscopy.
- the present invention relates to a swallowing endoscopy jelly having excellent visibility in swallowing endoscopy.
- Dysphagia is a disorder that makes it difficult to chew or swallow food or drink due to illness or aging.
- the chewed food is sent to the pharynx using the tongue and swallowed.
- the trachea is capped with the epiglottis and opened only at the moment of swallowing to feed food into the esophagus.
- Dysphagia occurs when the nerves and muscles involved in these movements are damaged.
- swallowed food may accumulate in the pharynx and develop pneumonia.
- VF Nylon swallowing endoscope
- VE Nylon swallowing endoscope
- swallowing endoscopy is to insert an endoscope (nasopharyngeal laryngeal fiber scope) about 10 cm from the nose, swallow food, check swallowing organs, dynamics of the bolus, etc. Observe and observe directly with an endoscope.
- endoscope nanosopharyngeal laryngeal fiber scope
- Patent Document 1 is shown below.
- Patent Document 1 Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 07-7 3 2
- the jelly itself used has high transparency, and if only a green colorant is added, the jelly remains transparent and the jelly state is difficult to see and difficult to distinguish. There is a problem. Furthermore, because the surface of the jelly is glossy, the jelly remains transparent even if only a green colorant is added, and the jelly state is difficult to see because it reflects off the lye of the endoscope. There is a problem. In particular, there is a big problem in visibility when a small amount of jelly having a jelly amount of 0.25 g or less is discriminated. Therefore, there is a demand for further improving the visibility of the colored jelly under the endoscope. Means for solving the problem
- the inventors of the present invention have been made as a result of research aimed at solving this problem by paying attention to the above problems.
- the invention according to claim 1 is a jelly for swallowing endoscopy in which a coloring agent and an opaque jelly are combined.
- the invention according to claim 2 is a jelly for swallowing endoscopy in which a green colorant and a clouding agent are blended.
- the invention according to claim 3 is a green color by adding safflower yellow pigment and gardenia blue pigment in a total amount ratio of 0.3 to 1.0% (weight ratio), and further a clouding agent of 0.2 to 0.8%. It is characterized by being a swallowing endoscopy jelly containing
- the invention of claim 4 is a jelly for swallowing endoscopy using a cloudy base as the clouding agent. The invention's effect
- the components of the test jelly of the present invention include a colorant and an opaque jelly.
- the test jelly according to the present invention is preferably green by adding 0.3 to 1.0% of the total amount of the colorant preparation.
- a clouding agent can be preferably used as the opaque jelly used in the present invention.
- Preferably, 0.2 to 0.8% of the clouding agent is blended to suppress the transparency.
- 0.1 to 5.0% gelling agent mainly composed of locust bean gum and other artificial sweeteners are appropriately blended.
- sugar In addition to these ingredients, it is preferable to add sugar, fructose, acidulant, seasoning, and fragrance as appropriate for easy drinking.
- the jelly for swallowing endoscopy of the present invention is a jelly for examining dysphagia and is suitably used for observation with an endoscope. That is,
- the inspection jelly of the present invention has a certain hardness and a certain amount of deliciousness so that it can be easily swallowed, and its appearance is green, less glossy and opaque, and is easy to observe with an endoscope. Yes.
- the colorant used in the present invention is preferably a green colorant. Purple and blue are not preferred because they are the same color as the veins visible under the mucous membrane and are difficult to see. Yellow colorants can also be used.
- the test jelly with a green colorant has a complementary color relationship with the pink color of tissue in the oral cavity and pharynx, making it easy to observe the retention status of the test jelly.
- the green colorant that can be used in the present invention there is no problem as long as it is a colorant that can be used particularly in foods.
- a colorant that can be used particularly in foods For example, gardenia, ⁇ carotene + gardenia blue, etc. can be used.
- a suitable mixture of safflower yellow and gardenia blue pigment is convenient.
- the blending amount of the green colorant is preferably 0.30 / 0 to 1%. As a result of observing five levels of 0.04%, 0.1%, 0.3%, 0.5%, and 1.0%, 0.5% was the easiest to see.
- the green colorant is blended, and an opaque jelly is used to reduce the transparency of the inspection jelly.
- a jelly containing a clouding agent is used. Clouding agents are also called “cloudy” in the food industry.
- the clouding agent used in the present invention may be any one that lowers the transparency of jellies commonly used in the food field.
- Examples of the clouding agent used in the present invention include turbid fruit juices such as oranges, lemons and apples, dairy products such as milk and whey, edible oils such as salad oils, and soft drinks to give a texture to sports drinks. Jelly containing a cloudy base (a cloudy fragrance preparation) used in the past can be used.
- a cloudy base is preferred.
- the cloudy base is a mixture of gum arabic, sucrose fatty acid ester, propylene glycol, glycerin, vegetable oil, saccharide, and sodium benzoate.
- a food flavor is preferably used as the cloudy base.
- Sakamoto Fragrance Co., Ltd. ⁇ Roots Cloudy S— 0 8 3 8 ”, Takada Fragrance Co., Ltd. # 1 0— Sj, Sanaloma Co., Ltd. “Cloudy Base”, Takasago Flavor Co., Ltd. “Cloudy Base W 6969”, and other cloudy bases used for soft drinks can be used.
- the blending amount of the clouding agent is preferably about 0.2% to 0.8%.
- a colorant formulation (safflower yellow (color value 667) 28.8%, gardenia blue 9.0% main component) was mixed in a total amount of 0.4 to 1.0% to give a sunk green color. Subsequently, the cloudy fragrance preparation 0.2 to 0.8% was blended to suppress transparency.
- the test jelly 1, 2, 3, and 4 of the present invention were prepared by appropriately blending 0.5 to 1.0% of a gelling agent mainly composed of soy bean gum and other artificial sweeteners.
- the numbers are the raw material mixing ratio (gZ1 OO g).
- Example 1 Using the jelly 2 of Example 1, it was determined whether the jelly residue was observed under the endoscope.
- a still image of the pharynx in which 0.1 g, 0.25 g, 0.5 g, 1.0 g, and 2.0 g of each jelly A, B, and G were stored in the epiglottis was taken under an endoscope.
- A is 0.2, 0.2, 0.4, 0.2, 1.2,
