Abstract

L'invention concerne des améliorations liées à un dispositif de commande pour commander un affichage d'un système informatique pour une utilisation avec un jeu vidéo comprenant une unité de commande de coordonnées pour produire des informations liées à une inclinaison verticale et horizontale du dispositif de commande, une unité de commande de jeu pour entrer des informations de commande de jeu et un dispositif de traitement pour traiter les informations produites par l'unité de commande de coordonnées et l'unité de commande de jeu. Le point de vue vertical et horizontal de l'utilisateur dans le jeu vidéo et/ou la position verticale et horizontale d'un curseur sur l'affichage sont déterminés sur la base des informations liées à l'inclinaison verticale et horizontale du dispositif de commande. Le dispositif de commande est de préférence modelé comme une arme à feu pour renforcer le réalisme du jeu vidéo, et peut comprendre un affichage par écran à cristaux liquides monté sur le dispositif de commande, en guise d'affichage primaire, et peut également comprendre un écran à cristaux liquides monté dans un dispositif de visée du dispositif de commande.
