  • groups of letters of the word composing the SMS message can be converted into complex graphic symbols, so as to reduce the size of the SMS message on the display of the digital device and to increase the encryption level without compromising its intelligibility.
  • the graphic symbols can be associated to sounds, so as to obtain an encryption not only graphic but also acoustic.

Abstract

Dispositif numérique (1) pour émettre et/ou recevoir des messages SMS au moyen d'un clavier (2) pourvu d'une pluralité de touches (3) et d'au moins un afficheur (4) pour afficher une pluralité de premiers caractères alphanumériques (5) d'un message SMS reçu ou à émettre, lequel dispositif numérique (1) comprend une mémoire non-volatile contenant une ou plusieurs tables numériques (7, 8) dans lesquelles les premiers caractères alphanumériques (5) sont associés à un ou plusieurs symboles graphiques (9) de façon à convertir un message SMS reçu ou à émettre en une suite de symboles graphiques affichables sur l'afficheur (4). L'invention concerne également un traitement exécutable par ce dispositif.
