  • Multifunctional intelligent parking timing and payment device and method thereof Multifunctional intelligent parking timing and payment device and method thereof
  • the present invention relates to parking timing and payment equipment, and more particularly to a multifunctional intelligent parking timing and payment apparatus and method using a wireless or wired communication transmission mechanism. Background technique
  • Today's parking timing devices are mostly coin-operated, prone to mechanical failure, and the user must have enough coins to use. Because of the inclusion of coins in the equipment, they are often subjected to vandalism in the attempt to obtain the money among the gangsters, resulting in double losses in equipment maintenance costs and parking revenue. Under the current coin-operated parking timing equipment, a large number of patrol personnel are often required to patrol the use situation and handle billing, collection, maintenance, etc., which is a very time-consuming and labor-intensive work. Coin-operated devices also have unrecognized shortcomings and often receive counterfeit coins.
  • Coin-operated equipment also needs to be dispatched to each machine to carry out manual collections one by one, which not only consumes manpower, but also requires a lot of cost for the collection and payment of the collected money, and the security risks are high, and may even have The situation of self-stealing occurs.
  • Recently developed parking time payment devices although the use of IC card payment function, but still manually to each machine to collect the payment data of each machine, and then sent to the center for clearing, The labor cost is still high, and it is not as fast as the communication transmission system.
  • the known parking metering and charging equipment cannot provide information on the usage status of the parking space to the parking space management information center. Therefore, the information center terminal cannot provide the vehicle owner who searches for the parking space.
  • the information of the parking space the owner can only look for the parking space by means of luck, which consumes a lot of time and gasoline costs, and often causes traffic congestion, the use efficiency of the parking space and the income of the parking operators can not be improved.
  • the well-known parking billing time charging device can only use the built-in battery and has no energy-saving design. Therefore, in battery maintenance and replacement, more frequent manual inspections and battery replacement operations are required. Even though a few parking time-paying devices in recent years have energy-saving design of solar panels, they may still reduce battery power due to weather factors, and the equipment can neither detect this situation nor actively notify the center or related personnel to handle it. The power is exhausted and it is not working properly, causing its payment service to be interrupted.
  • the traditional parking billing time charging device mostly uses the key to unlock the cover to open the cover of the device for maintenance of the device or update of its components.
  • the lock is easy to remove due to the external environment temperature and humidity. In addition to frequent changes and failures, it is also vulnerable to malicious damage by others, or the lock hole is filled with foreign matter to make the lock unusable.
