Abstract
Disclosed therein is a puzzle for learning, which allows an infant to complete a puzzle game while assembling puzzle pieces according to the order of making strokes in writing a Chinese or Korean character when the infant learns Chinese alphabets or Korean alphabets. The puzzle for learning according to the present invention comprises a puzzle plate 2 having a plurality of puzzle grooves 2a formed thereon and a plurality of puzzle pieces 3 each fit into an associated one of the plural puzzle grooves 2a. Indentations 3 a are formed at upper and lower portions of each puzzle piece 3 which are overlapped with neighboring puzzle pieces 3, so that the puzzle pieces 3 can keep a level condition in an assembled state.
Description
Description
PUZZLE FOR LEARNING
Technical Field
[1] The present device relates to a puzzle for learning, and more particularly, to a puzzle for learning, which allows an infant to complete a puzzle game while assembling puzzle pieces according to the order of making strokes in writing a Chinese character or Korean character when the infant learns Chinese alphabets or Korean alphabets (i.e., Hangeul), thereby providing the same function and effect as the conventional puzzle games and allowing the infant to learn Chinese alphabets or Korean alphabets while enjoying the puzzle game. Background Art
[2] A puzzle game set is manufactured in order for a player to obtain an intellectual satisfaction through fun and games in connection with solution of thinkable and difficult problems, such as words, numerals or figures, and various puzzles put on the market now adopt a construction that a plurality of puzzle pieces are fit and assembled with one another on a puzzle plate on which grooves are formed.
[3] Particularly, puzzles related with characters win a great popularity from infants as puzzles for learning, and for example, puzzles related with English alphabet and numerals have a simple structure regardless of the order of making strokes in writing.
[4] However, when the puzzles having the above structure are applied to learning of
Chinese characters, it can provide a great help in understanding shapes of Chinese characters but cannot make the infants correctly know the order of making strokes in writing.
Disclosure of Invention Technical Problem
[5] Accordingly, the present invention has been made in an effort to solve the above- mentioned problems occurring in the prior arts, and it is an object of the present invention to provide a puzzle for learning, in which puzzle pieces are completely assembled only when they are exactly coincided with the order of making strokes in writing a Chinese character, thereby allowing a player to learn Chinese alphabets or Korean alphabets while playing with a Korean puzzle set or a Chinese puzzle set. Technical Solution
[6] To achieve the above objects, the present invention provides a puzzle for learning, which comprises puzzle plate having a plurality of puzzle grooves formed thereon and a plurality of puzzle pieces each fit into an associated one of the puzzle grooves, wherein indentations are formed at upper and lower portions of each of the plural
puzzle pieces in such a manner as to overlapped with neighboring puzzle pieces, so that the puzzle pieces can keep a level condition in an assembled state. Advantageous Effects
[7] The puzzle for learning according to the present device includes puzzle pieces completely matched only when they are exactly coincided with the order of making strokes in writing a Chinese or Korean character, so that a player can learn Chinese alphabets or Korean alphabets while playing with a Korean puzzle set or a Chinese puzzle set. Brief Description of the Drawings
[8] FIG. 1 is a perspective view according to a preferred embodiment of the present device.
[9] FIG. 2 is an exploded perspective view according to the present device.
[10] FIG. 3 is a sectional view showing an assembled state of the present device.
[11] FIG. 4 is a perspective view showing an example where the present invention is applied to a book.
[12]
Mode for the Invention
[13] FIG. 1 is a perspective view according to a preferred embodiment of the present device, FIG. 2 is an exploded perspective view according to the present device, and FIG. 3 is a sectional view showing an assembled state of the present device. Reference will be now made in detail to the preferred embodiment of the present invention with reference to the attached drawings.
[14] The present device is a positive improvement of the conventional puzzle 1 which includes a puzzle plate 2 having a plurality of puzzle grooves 2a formed thereon and a plurality of puzzle pieces 3 each fit into an associated one of the plural puzzle grooves 2a, and is characterized in that a player naturally learns Chinese alphabets and knows the order of making strokes in writing while assembling the puzzle pieces according to the order of making strokes in writing Chinese or Korean characters.
[15] The puzzle according to the present device, which includes a puzzle plate 2 having a plurality of puzzle grooves 2a formed thereon and a plurality of puzzle pieces each fit into an associated one of the plural puzzle grooves 2a, further includes indentations 3a formed at upper and lower portions of each puzzle piece 3 so as to be overlapped with neighboring puzzle pieces 3, so that the puzzle pieces 3 can keep a level condition in an assembled state.
[16] It is preferable that the order of making strokes in writing is indicated at the inside or outside of each puzzle groove 2a of the puzzle plate 2 by numerals and arrows 4. Meaning and sound of the completed puzzle 1 are written on the puzzle plate 2, so that
the player can read and study the contents of the puzzle 1.
[17] FIG. 4 illustrates an example where the puzzle according to the present device is made in the form of a book.
[18] In the present device, as an example, the puzzle 1 related with Chinese alphabets is described, but the puzzle 1 may be a puzzle related with Korean alphabets.
[19] The puzzle 1 for learning Chinese alphabets having the above configuration according to the present device can be used when infants or elementary school students learn Korean alphabets or Chinese alphabets.
[20] The present device can provide an intellectual satisfaction while playing with this puzzle 1, and allow the player to exactly know the order of making strokes in writing Chinese alphabets (or Korean alphabets) since the Chinese alphabets are completed only when the player correctly assembles the puzzle pieces according to the order of making strokes in writing.
[21] That is, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, when the player assembles the puzzle pieces in a wrong order of making strokes, neighboring puzzle pieces 3 are not correctly matched with each other, and so, the puzzle pieces do not provide a level surface at the overlapped portions thereof. So, the present device can naturally induce the correct order of making strokes in writing. Industrial Applicability
[22] As described above, the puzzle 1 for learning according to the present device has the indentations 3 a formed at the overlapped portions between the neighboring puzzle pieces 3 to thereby keep the level state when the puzzle pieces 3 are completely assembled. So, the puzzle according to the present device can provide the same function and effect as the conventional puzzles. In addition, the puzzle according to the present device can allow the player to naturally learn Chinese alphabets or Korean alphabets since the puzzle pieces are assembled with one another in the correct order of making strokes in writing and improve a learning efficiency since the player can learn difficult Chinese alphabets while playing with this puzzle 1.
Claims
[1] A puzzle for learning, which comprises puzzle plate 2 having a plurality of puzzle grooves 2a formed thereon and a plurality of puzzle pieces 3 each fit into an associated one of the puzzle grooves 2a, wherein indentations 3a are formed at upper and lower portions of each of the plural puzzle pieces 3 in such a manner as to overlapped with neighboring puzzle pieces 3, so that the puzzle pieces 3 can keep a level condition in an assembled state.
[2] The puzzle for learning according to claim 1, wherein the order of making strokes in writing is indicated at the inside or outside of each puzzle groove 2a of the puzzle plate 2 by numerals and arrows 4.
