Definitions

  • the method relates to a method for associating or tagging a graphical visualization or video file with a sound fiie such as a song.
  • the method of the present invention provides a solution to the above-outlined problems.
  • the concept of the present invention i.e. to tag a video file with a reference about which sound that should be used to the video file, enables the user to freely distribute self-created music videos or films without any audio content. More particularly, the method is for playing a soundless video file together with sound file.
  • the user may first select a sound file.
  • the soundless video file is then created.
  • the video file is tagged with a tag associated with the sound file.
  • the tagged video file is, preferably, stored on a website so that it is easy to distribute and made available to users.
  • a user who has a video file player capable of simultaneously playing different sound and video files with the possibility of linking the video file and the audio file based of the reference-content of the video file tag, may select the tagged video file and obtain the sound file associated with the tagged video file. The user may then play the tagged video file together with the sound file.
